How Valorant's Weirdest IGL Trolled His Way to the Top

Every esports star has a different claim to fame.

Some players are known for their fiery tempers, some have iconic nicknames to match their equally iconic playstyles, and some are forever immortalized through that one career-defining performance.

But only one is famous for their walkouts.

Meet Benedict “Benkai” Tan, Valorant’s king of bizarre tournament appearances. Whether he walks on stage in a T-Rex costume, or dressed as the cameraman, Benkai has made a name for himself as the VCT’s class clown.

But his trollish antics off the server hide the fact that Benkai is one of Valorant’s most fearsome in-game leaders, and he tamed a team of trolls to rise to the top of competitive Valorant.

So, why does Benkai do this? What does the rest of the scene think about it? And do his flashy entrances actually connect to his team’s success on the server?

  1. They're CLOWN…
If they lose… it's normal because they're not GOD like every team want to be…
If they win… it's double the insult (I mean… you lose to a clown?)
