How Ukraine built an ‘army of drones’ to fight Russia

When Russian tanks began rolling across the border in February, most people thought it was over. The US even offered Zelenski a plane to get out, to which he responded, “I need ammunition, not a ride.” That was the first among many surprises of a war that may well be ushering in a new era of warfighting.
That is, the era of the drone.
Ukraine didn’t have a fleet of aircraft to compete with Russia in the sky, so they got creative. Ukraine began building an army of drones and even put the call out to the international community to contribute to an idea that was already beginning to turn the tide of the war. People sent their personal drones, homemade drones, and even some people made the trip to Ukraine to help out as pilots.
Russia’s slow and outdated logistics convoys made for easy pickings, and their overconfident troops were completely unprepared to take on the weapons and tactics of the future. For a fraction of the price, Ukraine has destroyed billions in Russian military hardware.

Do you think drones will help Ukraine win the war?

  1. The attack on Kiev was a decoy made by Russia with the scrap metal tanks and convicted from Russian jails as a military personal. Russia studied the reaction of the West and the Ukrainian army. The real attack started in S-E of Ukraine and it’s going now with big success.

  2. Drones will obviously help the war effort, but drones can't win a war. Tanks help in war, but tanks alone won't win a war. Repeat that statement for literally everything, and it's always true. That's why the best militaries use combined arms strategies. Because that is how you win a war

  3. You got here really something wrong here. Russia never went into Ukraine to kill or destroy infrastructure. This made them look weak. After about three month in the war they changed tactics. Ukraine is over. Ukraine's dyeing like never before and west is filling up their pockets. When they got enough, they will pull away from Ukraine. Just watch.

  4. One of the Best Projection stories I have seen for a while.
Especially since Zelensky hasn't stop begging for Money and Arms for nearly eleven months.
The world has already sent well over a Trillion worth to this Clown ad he still hasn't regained the lost 25%, and being pushed back still.
They shoot wayward missiles at neighbours and blow up their own apartment buildings what a comedy act.
And the Ukrainian People have to suffer because the EU and their master wants this Russian regime change at ANY COST.

  5. I support Ukraine, of course, but I really don't like the Hero fame Zelenski got. He is a showman, before the war he was super unsuccessful at uniting his people, Ukraine was slowly becoming more pro russian everyday. He is not a good leader
