drones are usefull today and turkiye did a amazing job building one of the best drones compared to its counterparts, but they will be useless when directed energy weapons hit the battlefield in the future such as laser guns, electromagnetic guns etc.

I did the same research in Turkish sources: According to Baykar company they produced 580 TB2 between 2014-2023.
130 is the number of TB2s actively used by Turkish army.
turkey was struggling to sell drones before azerbajan and ukranie war. Nobody were trusting turkey and they do prefer usa military equipment.
But then USA did not helped those countries defend themselves against russia. Which was alarming for countries were depends USA for military equipment.
This problem let them to think for alternatives and there is only 2 countries selling advanced military equipment in world, Turkey and China.
Althougt china is better and cheaper, Countries that depends on USA dont want to convert to other side.
There is only one alternative left in NATO to buy arms and it is turkey.
Turkey just filled gaps and won the market. Now african countries want to buy drones because of success they see in those wars.

Turkey has a huge infrastructure for building aircraft for a very long time. There is hundreds of f16s made in turkey, serving to many countries.
Turkish aviation industry has making aircraft parts to airbus, Rolls-Royce, boeing and many other.
It's inevitable for Turkey to make It's own aircrafts.
And probably Turkey make It's own fighter jet operational very very soon.

I couldn't understand why you didn't touch up on this. Same story with TAI drones, you mentioned ANKA-S but failed to mention the gigantic AKSUNGUR or the ANKA-3 stealth bomber drone! Furthermore only scratched the surface once again with the political influence these drones have for e.g. the sale to the Maldives, or a major number of African countries who now posses Turkish drones! Kızıl Elma is UFJ (unmanned fighter jet) of Turkiye it made formation flight with UCAV Akıncı and F16. Joined technofetsival with bunch of F16 and they flight togather and made a big show.

The flight planned for 2026 but it made it's first flight on 2024 thanks to emborges of our so-called ALLY USA. Greece constantly complained when it heard about the possibility of Turkey returning to the F35 program. USA is doing this to distract/stall us. We've run out of patience with America. For everyone who doesn’t know Turkish engineers helped design and had key roles in many 5th gen programs here in the USA. F135 engine for the f35 and the F119 engine for the F22. I worked with Turkish engineers daily on the engine line as I’m a jet engine mechanic on both of those platforms. I remember the day they were no longer working with us and out of the program but that’s after 10 or 15 years. I 1000% know they can build a good jet. Because they helped build ours.
That song has been sung in the first days of the SMO. The drones were delievered by Bayraktar in a pre war deal. So the song is actually 2 years old.
I think people dont understand how insane this actually is what Turkiye did.. the only other countries that have a Gen 5 Jet are super powers like USA, Russia and China. We saw this very clearly in the conflicts between Russia and Ukraine, as well as Israel and Palestine. Even if you have the best weapons and aircraft in the world, you can only fight for 15 days. On the 16th day, if you cannot sustain yourself in terms of logistics and ammunition, you are left with nothing. As we saw in the Russia-Ukraine conflict, wars can last for more than 2 years and will continue to do so. Only countries that can produce their own weapons and ammunition independently from external sources can survive in a major war. Turkey is one of those countries, you can be sure of that.
Hopefully, it won't happen, but let's say the Third World War breaks out. Countries like Saudi Arabia, Greece, and others who do not produce their own weapons will quickly fade away.

Thats what happens when you reject to sell key weapon systems to your allies, when they need them consistently for decades. Turkey tried to buy Mine protected armored vehicles, US and EU rejected, Turkey made its own versions. Turkey tried to buy drones, US rejected, Turkey made its own versions. Turkey tried to buy Patriots, USA rejected, Turkey bought S-400 and made its own versions. You get the idea.
Turkey has at least 200 bayraktar tb-2 alone with it's air force (also within different branches of armed forces) that 130 number is far from reality. Anka, Aksungur, Karayel, Tb-2, Akıncı combined together makes more than 300 in terms of ucav (with combat capability)
