I love your work man this game is amazing.
Maybe this time they won't make gold enemies MM exclusives and that's why there's obvious room for a higher tier of silver enemies.
Does it count as killing enemies with no hits if you use ice on fire enemies and fire on ice enemies?
It'd be fantastic if we could see it and know where we're missing. Without that it's subpar.
Dang, That explains why i started seeing silver bokoblins around the time i finished my second temple. I explore a lot of cave and i just started getting silver horroblins after my third temple, and this has me worried about upgrades. I have yet to encounter a single red lynel, and i will need to find at least six if i hope to get my barbarian armor set upgraded. This experience system is great, but it also feels like I'm hitting enemy level caps before i have even scratched the surface.😢 im also worried about finding enough materials for armor set upgrades
I actually don't like this system very much at all. Enemies scaling doesn’t seem like a reward but rather a punishment to me, because the fights become harder and less managable. I just want to play the game without getting overly stressed and the scaling system makes it more difficult than i feel i can manage. So i am constantly avoiding combat instead of getting used to it and getting better at it because I am scared of the enemies becoming harder.
Why are people complaining about everything becoming silver after doing the lynel collesium. It just means you are getting the best weapon upgrades early! 🙂
That explains why i got my ass kicked a lot, taking lynels and constructs 2 and 3 quite early in the game…
I guess im maxed hard to say though
I fought ganondorf 10 times and I think it only got me to 5k not 10k. Did I do something wrong?
Explored 90% of the depths first since it was the newest immediate content, including many of the colosseums which were dodge or die due to no HP, and oof I can see why I got screwed over on not being able to upgrade certain things due to the lower leveled ones seemingly never appearing anymore for the needed drops.
I don't get the point of this exp. Mechanic.
I tried making a stealth build in the early game. I guess that counts as skillful, because little old me went against tier 3 constructs and black bokoblins at 4 hears and 0 dungeons as a result of that <.<
So if an octorok spits out my royal guard's shield with a gold modifier im maxed out? Or only if I find one that way
Is there any way to see what our accumulated XP is at?
Huh, I completed 1 of the surface/sky/depth labyrinths before I had even upgraded anything. I found fighting the Flux III easy, since all you had to do was pull the boxes out to get it to crumble (or ascend when its too high up). I did die a couple times when I was too slow to miss the squash attack, but it was relatively easy. Im surprised it gets you that much xp
I took a bunch of boss bokoblins, ignio talus and fire lizalfos out with head shots and ice attacks when venturing out to the eldin region when I first descended to the surface and I sort of skipped the second tier of enemies by the time I unlocked Yonobo. I had a very tedious time filling in the album entries for first and second tier enemies when I unlocked the feature and gained the interest. It was all about looking for the level locked versions.
you rock ❤❤❤😍😍
I just got TOTK a few days ago, straight from finishing BOTW with all of those skills fresh in my mind. Haven't even done my first temple yet, and am already seeing black enemies. It's scary walking around with barely any hearts or stamina, and just avoiding everything for fear of being one-shot!
You can fall through colgeras crystals? I just shoot it in the belly
I'm so annoyed right now. 😂 Everyone else in the comments is like "oh I ran straight for a Lynel to power game and my life got super hard". I encountered a Red or Blue Lynel naturally at a reasonable amount of stuff to safely beef with an unexpected Lynel and defeated it flawlessly because I've played like a billion hours of BOTW at this point. And then suddenly every time I took a breath there was a horde of silver Bokoblins beating me half to death. I think they may have made some mistakes on the curve. They probably ought to have a level right before "and suddenly everything is silver" that you stay at until after you beat Ganon so that you have a little wiggle room.
Flux Construct IIIs are worth MORE than phantom ganon? Those constructs are easy AF
Why do we want exp? Is it like slowly increasing your attack power?
Do you get experience from using ancient blades against enemies?
I think the second boss fights they are counting might be the gauntlet right before ganondorf if you didnt beat the temples.
Nevermind he clarified i shouldve finished the video
Do you have to put down a new save between each battle with ganondorf to save the xp of each of the battles?
Never even saw a black boss bokoblin. Just went to silver
see, the problem here is there's no way to lose XP, so at some point it's not scaling based on skill, it's scaling based on how often you're having to fight things when you really just want to explore
i also wish zonai devices could scale, as i've heard some mention that mid teir enemies can basically ignore the damage from any reasonable combination of devices
on that note, a video on everything we know about zonai devices would be great, i actually couldn't find much info searching on my own that you don't get just reading their description, and i'd rather not have more surprise lessons like when i found out the big wheels can just disappear after an amount of time the same way the wing and hot air balloons can
Some of these things you go over and some I don’t but it doesn’t matter I would still watch you even if I don’t have the game. I’ve been enjoying your content for awhile. Also, until you made the lynel video I used to be scared of them. Now I actively seek them out.
Ohhh, so this is why silver enemies started sprouting everywhere, okay. sucks to be me because I spent a week in the depths and now it appears that during that week enemies outside trained in the hyperbolic time chamber.
You didn't explain why you would want to max your exp gain. Sounds like some people are having a problem with it gaining too quickly, but what is the benefit then?
