  1. Technically we could live on Mars after just 60 years. The video supposes that we make one thing after another, but we can make multiple things together. If we construct the magnetic umbrella together with the lasers, and we start importing nitrogen while our lasers are still creating the oxygen atmosphere, in 60 years we would have a planet with the right temperature, the right atmosphere and protected by cosmic rays. At this point we could already live on Mars and build cities. The biosphere is a long-term challenge, but we could ignore it, since it isn't necessary that the planet have a great biosphere for us to live in

  2. On your higher being comment, yes, it is very hard to smack a whole ecosystem onto a planet all at once. But that's not what people who accept evolution say happened at all, it was eons of trial and error that stayed in it's own balance out of necessity. For this proposed mars biosphere we wouldn't even be making our own creatures from scratch, we'd be bringing over creatures from Earth, which is even WORSE. So it's double harder. I don't think that's a fair reason to say that's evidence for a higher being.
