How To Survive On Mars: INSANE Martian Astronaut Training!
With the time for man to eventually embark on the journey to mars drawing closer and closer, we begin to see some of the rigorous training that these astronauts have to carry out. From mental gymnastics mediated by AI technology to underwater training and low-oxygen breath holds… The astronaut cadets undergo difficult and potentially deadly situations resembling those on Mars while undergoing Martian survival training in the Sahara desert. These expeditions teach the Martian astronauts how to deal with dust storms just like they would on Mars, rock climb and rappel, move camp every day, tend to the injured, build traps, and ward off predators. They also teach them how to repurpose equipment and materials, such as turning debris into shelter and a broken-down car into a motorcycle. The astronauts also receive navigation training, which includes mapping out the terrain and locating their position using the moon and stars. The astronaut cadets receive their Martian survival training in Italy’s caverns as well. While living in the caves, the astronauts learn how to survive in solitude, confinement, and the absence of sunlight while also losing track of time, just as if they were doing so in the blackness of space.

I really love the idea of surviving on another planet, and i dream sometimes of even living in outer space. Technology is advancing every day as we know it, and I sure soon we will be able to live on other planets!
I find the idea of conquering new Worlds kind of fascinating and exciting. Though it is incredible all the training and the physical capabilities an Astronaut has to have just to start thinking about going into space it is really commendable all the effort and dedication they have to put into this training.
