Step 1: Recognize It
If your mind is saying “what if” or what about” or playing a movie in your head that is future paced and negative, you’ll know to take step 2

Step 2: Delete-Reject
As soon as you recognize a worrisome thought that is not serving you. Say with vigor “Delete-Reject”
This will stop the thought in its tracks!

Step 3: Rationalize
Because the brain is needs clear orders to follow you need to tell it “This is not actually happening right now. This is not my current reality. This is not real.”
Once you do so, it will control the perception of what you tried to create. Fascinating!

Most times that I have to use this trick is when I start to drift to sleep, the mind goes on a crazy “what if” party. This trick works for me every time! BEFORE things get out of hand I do this, then it doesn’t get out of hand.
