  1. I had a lot of fun playing a magic monk in Morrowind years ago, it's quite similar – you go high speed and pretty good str, hand to hand, unarmored, and all te good magics -> paralyze things, damage their fatigue and health, and then punch 'em to death OR in the case of Cliff Racers TAKE THE FIGHT TO THE FUCKERS by levitating and punchimg their faces mid-air

  2. I love this game, and the first time I played it was awful. I took the directions far too literally, and it went badly. The next few times I didn’t finish it but mainly randomly messed about. I still need to finish it completely since I fail the quest due to going on murder rampages around the slave quest.

  3. The easiest way to get money in Morrowind is to acquire one (1) piece of Ordinator armor, pay any bounty and then wear it when you go to Vivec city. Ordinators will attack you but you wont get a bounty. Then you haul all their shit to creeper. For best results I believe the Pauldrons and boots have the best cost to weight ratio. Its even easier if you have a levitate spell because they barely have any ranged attacks, of course that doesnt work if you're limiting yourself to melee attacks. And the most broken constant effect spells are restore health/fatigue even if its only like 1-4 points

  4. I did a barefist playthrough of Morrowind without mods. The big thing is that you needed to drain the enemy's stamina ("fatigue", whatever) before you could deal damage. So, I just made a bunch of rechargable Damage Fatigue-enchanted gear and spammed that before punching them to death.

Skeletons are the worst, they have way too much fatigue.

  5. I was assaulted the other day.

Just walking around, you know, looking to pick up some stuff before the Christmas shopping starts. I look up at what I thought was someone on a roof, I look away and the next time I look up this guy just lands right in front of me. I’m stunned. Didn’t know what to do. Then he started hitting me but I didn’t feel anything. As I reached a hand out it was like touching nothing. Then all of a sudden WHAM I get knocked out. I wake up naked and all my exquisite clothing was gone!

    Like, what the hell?
