How to protect your home from a hurricane in Florida! In this video, we are showing you how we help our clients protect their homes from a hurricane here in Venice, Florida.
There are certain things you can look for to protect yourself when purchasing a home in Florida. We always recommend purchasing a home in Flood Zone X, but is that enough?
Richard is going into great detail here on how he analyzes properties for our clients and to make sure the home is built properly.

Thanks for the informative video.
Perhaps a post-Milton update? How did Wellen Park neighborhoods fare? Did Myakka River surge at all and encroach any areas? Did Flood Zone X areas hold up for a 100-year storm like Milton?
Those piles of debris resemble our eviction setouts π
When we finally purchase down there weβre going to need to be at least 30β above sea level.
Flood zones are chosen by politicians and corporations.
Great informative examples. Thanks for the updates as well.
is that Shellstone 2-story house you showed a few videos back stucco on the 2nd floor exterior?
