i found that chest in my playthrough and kepri was not part of the fusion 🙁 Gonna recheck just in case.

I found one on its own between the mall and mourningtown I'm pretty sure. Haven't used i5 because I didn't know it was special.
Hey guys! Headsup, if for some reason khepri doesn't spawn for you using this method, go to the post game and unlock the quest 'here comes the sun' on the message board after level 3. It'll unlock a new cave where u can find a bunch. I'll make a video about that soon. Lemme know what other guides you'd like! Working on fast XP farming, shiny hunting, and more at the moment!!
Unfortunately, that chest encounter is not guaranteed to include a Khepri.
It can be found as a rare random encounter in that area (it doesn't show as an underworld sprite, but appears in battles).
The wiki says this thing has 300 ranged attack. Packs quite a wallop. Well, not a Wallop because that's a melee attack, but you know what I mean.
I didn't even know this was considered a legendary 😂 I casually used it at the end of my playthrough & end game because of its insane 300 base Ranged Attack
I used a Bootleg Sacrifice Candle and found a bootleg of this man in a rogue fusion
I just lost an astral macabra because it ghosted itself and died…
Kepri is a normal if rare encounter in that group of caves. has multiple entrances/exits. some area require you to drop down to get to another area.
As far as I know, monsters like khepri aren't considered uniques (legendaries), they're just incredibly rare, usually more so than the actual uniques lol. Khepri is really powerful though, especially if you mess with the gym.
I had the luck to find Khepri from a rogue fusion in a lava-flooded park area, I didn't realize it was such a rare find at the time O-o
Khepri's not a legendary, it's a rare encounter in Mt Wirral caves. It can be the random partner of anything in that cave system. It's more like a pseudo-legendary. Stupid powerful, hard to find.
Also chests are random, so not everyone's going to get one there. I got a totally different fusion in that chest (luckily for me, it was a bootleg!). Pretty sure the only guaranteed outcome of a chest is there's one in Autumn Hills with Gear Shear so you can finish the bestiary.
It took me soo long to find a Khepri ive spent hors trying to find it in the cave only found 1 and killed it by mistake then i decided to take a breack and go after rouge fusions and found one by the place were the red phone booths are cus there was a rouge fusion that made lava apear and i got SO LUCKy i manage to catch one there there one of my FAVS hands down
For everyone saying that Kephri is not unique, remember that in this game we do not kill the monsters they simple flee at the end of each battle, so battling Kephri multiple times does not mean there are multiple ones, it can literally just be the same one you encounter every time, same for Averevoir and Glaistain and all the others.
