  1. I have a small backyard in suburbia. My gardening projects are small with consideration of neighbors. My composting is in a garbage can riddled with drilled holes. It works just OK.

  2. Why Coffee grinds (come from roasted seeds) and tea (artificially dried leaves) are considered green materials, but fallen brown leaves are considered brown material? Coffee and tea still contain high nitrogen but how brown leaves lose nitrogen? Confused

  3. The worms ALWAYS find their way in somehow. YES! My compost bin is on the roof of a 2 building. Where my small container garden also is located. I've only ever put in prunings, newspaper, cardboard and a few kitchen scraps. And I still find a few worms in there everytime I turn it 😂

  4. After making a compost heap, it fills with earthworms. I know it's a good thing, but I don't like using the compost as it will disturb the earthworms. It's painstaking to remove the worms from every handful of compost. Any thoughts on this?

  8. Hey Ben, guess what!!! This video of yours just confirmed my own recent experiment. My composting area was taking the expected time to breakdown, according to what I was reading online. I became a little impatient and thought surely this could breakdown more quickly if I chopped everything I add to it. WOW!!!! It worked and now you've just confirmed my simple experiment.
Thank you, thank you for all your knowledge and sharing. I LOVE your Channel :):):):):)
