How to make a modern makeover of a mirror and a wall clock. Elisa & Magic Paint!

A modern and elegant makeover!
Today I will suggest you a few tricks
to achieve a perfect makeover
by just applying the colour.

The frame of this mirror
and this clock were commissioned to me
by Giorgia, my interior designer friend,
for a renovation she is currently completing.

First I removed the mirror from the frame
and put it back together by gluing the broken parts
and I filled it with Materic Cream.

Then I moved on to colour,
I painted the whole frame with
my deep Pepper Blue
and for the clock I chose
Clear Sand for the central part
and Pepper Blue for the outside.
Finally, I applied the gold leaf
Re Mida, to decorate it.

This modern-looking makeover
will look great with the neutral walls
of its new home!

13:02 – Fill the frame with Materic Cream
15:38 – Smooth the surface with abrasive sponge
16:30 – Apply anti-tannin and Pepper Blue to the frame
18:35 – Apply Linfa
20:12 – Apply gold leaf
22:44 – Paint the inside of the frame
24:00 – Apply Pepper Blue to the frame
26:25 – Wax protection
