  1. why r u doing less and less dmg the more u hit the dragon? does the dragon have a resistance build-up or something?
Also, what about the less obvious dmg elements like fire and lightning? do they scale with faith? i know lightning spells scale with faith since they require faith to use, but lightning weapon dmg doesnt add faith scaling, so would that still gain dmg from faith even if it doesnt have faith scaling?

  2. Ok so when u put on the mimic mask it makes u do less damage read the description of the item but mainly bloody slice doesn't stack bleed I prefer other blood ash of wars if ur doing a arcane build and a weapon already has bleed then it's best to do occult affinity since that scales with arcane. Btw Some of the special weapons don't scale with arcane atm due to a bug/glitch. On the sword of night in flame I found if u have high int the weapon art performed better in damage

  3. Alot of the magic ashes of war, while boosting weapon stats does help them, they also still mainly scale off what the spell theyre based off scales on, so like moonveil, while dex helps it, Int scales it up higher even if its keen, because the ashes are considered purely magic atks

  4. Please do light vs medium weight differences! Haven't been able to find any so far yet and watched a video that tested and found rolls take the same amount of time and seem to go the same distance as well so unsure what the difference is!

  5. It would be nice if you could change the affinity on normal weapons with normal ashes of war and still use weapon buffs. For example: changing the scaling of the soilders straight sword to faith with the sanctified whet blade, and using the square off “aow “ prevents you from using black flame blade incantation with it. Same with the erdsteel dagger and the quickstep “aow”. Maybe it would be too strong with high faith? I only have 30 and it doesn’t seem like it would be.
It’s pretty annoying bc I really don’t like the faith scaling weapons available or their ashes of war and you still can’t use the weapon buff incantations with at least most of them I think.

Ideally id like to add faith scaling to the flamberge with a basic “aow” and still use black flame blade (I knew it sucks, but the aesthetic). It can’t be that much stronger or am I doing something wrong ?

  6. Weird question but is scaling independent for attacking and ash of war attacking? For example the moonveil katana increasing my INT will increase the ash of war dmg but does it increase reg and heavy attacks as well?

  7. This helps a lot Moxy, but I'm having issues with one weapon. It feels broken and the modifiers aren't working even if I max out all my equipment for the one weapon. (Mohgwyn's Sacred Spear + 10)

  8. Hey Moxsy as always a thorough and awesome video, but just so you know, just because weapons have the same letter grades for scaling, it doesn't mean the scaling is exactly the same, or at least in past soulsborne games it didn't mean that, i.e. all A scalings are higher than all Bs, but not all As are equal amongst themselves

  9. Basically increasing your weapons AR will increase the ash of war damage, and increasing the stat that scales the element of the ash also increase the damage (but not as much)

Bloody slash is a little wierd because currently bleed scaling is bugged and doesn't work properly when you invest more in arcane

  10. I’m summary for hoarfrost…I’m a mage with int so make it magic, for best bang for buck? What about the beam on night and flame…does it scale off int and the fire off faith?
