Saltpeter is a RawResource used to create Gunpowder obtained by gathering Saltpeter Deposits. These saltpeter deposit nodes have specific spawn points and i have come up with a fast farming guide to get 100 saltpeter in minutes, this farming guide can be repeated to collect lots of saltpeter that can be sold at the trade house or used to create gunpowder when leveling your engineering skill. Gunpowder is a Tier 2 resource used to create cartridges as an ammo source for Muskets as part of the Workshop Crafting list
– Saltpeter Ore are deposits on the ground found inside caves
Average deposit yield = 5~17
Respawn timer = 5 minutes

Nice guide! I still haven't even left Everfall yet and I'm level 18 haha
Competition was a bit steeper on my server but I managed to pick up about 100 salt peter in about 20 minutes. I also have a potion for increasing yields and i am going to try it as soon as i get back and see if it improves my yield (it might be just for mining)
Love this spot but its SUPER competitive on my server, only walked out with 2 nodes after 30 mins.. If anyone has any other spots let me know!
Good luck getting anything there! went there late at night when the servers are pretty empti, 6 other people there.. just for fun went there again in the evning, as far as I could see, there wher 17 people there.. so yea this is the worst place to get saltpeter lol
