So I need to advance in the story 😒
On my game the door is closed.
What the video doesn't tell you is. The city doesn't open until the last mission of the game.
I went back here like three times. I hoped I had just missed something or something opened up. I grabbed the book finally during that mission and didn't have to beat the game first.
They should give you a hint or something. Cleared all the guards and still couldn’t find the damn entrance to the book. Out of all the Creeds probably the worse one story wise, even the gameplay is not interesting. Dull atmosphere, uninteresting fights.

Seems like I'm not the only that cleared the whole palace only to find out you need to progress further in the story to get the book. At least i got some trophies out it 😅

The video didn't do anything for me as I had already found the balcony and the video speeds through so much you really can't tell how to get there anyway. If not for the comments I wouldn't know that you have to progress further into the story before being able to get to this book. Good news, I have this area synchronized now, so can get to it quickly when I do.

What the hell i spent 2 hours looking around flying around trying to find a way in why the hell does it even give you an option if you can’t get inside till you progress. Hate when games do that and don’t tell you… just a waste of time lol

What a joke. Maybe a tiny hint you can't get the damn thing before the games almost over. I've killed every guard in sight, ran around for 2hrs. They pester the crap out of you to upgrade a weapon every 5 minutes. Grrr. I'm too old for this, just turned 73. Thanks, though I've tried to get in that very entrance 5 times.
Went up the exact spot and could t get in… maybe include details next time… so far very underwhelmed with this game compared to the last three… for instance if we’re not allowed to have bows… why are our enemies?!?
