okay guys let’s get a quick rundown of what you need to get the Poseidon rod: 6 sharks (hammerhead, whale, great white, icebeard, ginsu, and ancient megaladon) you also need 1.5 million cash. The rod is bought in the Atlantis update area behind the statue of Poseidon (the one holding the trident) 🔱. Once inside you will see Poseidon in his throne, go the right of that and find the door, keep swimming until you reach the surface and see that it says “Poseidon trial”. From there take your sharks and head straight to the two doors. The left door needs the hammerhead, whale, and icebeard (in that order of pedestal placement) and the right door needs the great white, ancient megaladon, and ginsu (in that order of pedestal placement). The doors DO matter and so do the pedestal placement so make sure you place them accordingly. Finally it will tell you a door has been opened, where you will then find the room with the rod. Simply buy it. A few important things is that you CANNOT share the pedestal with others (all six sharks are placed by you) and nobody can open the door for you (At least I don’t think). The game DOES take your fish once you place them all on the pedestals! In addition, the mutations don’t matter on the sharks, but the sharks have to be specially that kind of shark (not a normal meg, etc.) in my opinion you either want hasty or quantum on your rod. Hasty is good for an instant catch while quantum will allow you to fully maximize the value of each catch. Hopefully this helps!
