Thanks for the tips! This expansion is so good. Also for whatever reason it runs amazing on the switch lite compared to the switch OLED. Possibly the screen size but it’s much more stable for anyone wondering lol.
Time bending both Eternity Isle, The Valley, & all the Realms is the BEST way to get Mist. You can walk away with 10-12k of Mist within 30 min.

i've gotten up to 500 mist in all realms. more important though. you can get a very rare resource called Glimmer from the realms. these are used to make fragments. at hourglass level 3 you have 10 different fragments you can make, each require 25 glimmer along with mist and at least 10 of 1 other resource

FYI monkey's fav meal is Banana split and in the realms is only place u can find glimmer . Im loving the new update . Soooo much to do ! I just opened the cave of wonder . Glad they are making some things harder to accomplish than b4

Great guide! My experience in the realms was different. I have a level 3 time bender and receive 500 mist quite often, I also receive special material not just mist from doing realms. I don't remember what the material is called, I'm not logged in. A quick question, did anyone else experience a bug where mist duties autocompleted every 5 minutes? I received the duty to spend 5 mins with Gaston, who I already had as a follower. After that every 5 minutes another duty was autocompleted as long as I had claimed the mist from the previous one, this lasted for about 24 hours. I googled it but could find nothing on the bug and I have no idea what I did to trigger it. I did log off and back on during that time and it still kept happening.
Or be lucky and get the duties glitch that gave mist without doing anything. Left my pc on and just claimed it every 5 minutes while watching a movie 😂 Unlocked all the realms. Pretty sure it is back to normal but it was fun while it lasted 😢 (i don’t know what caused the glitch)
THANK YOU SOOO MUCH!! I’ve been struggling to get enough mist! I love your house area. Did you keep the house in the same spot as it was originally and just remove the big trees to make room for the other trees and bushes. I did make a garden next to my house!

Seeing Gaston makes me sad! I couldn’t interact and move my mirror over to complete the quest in the vault. He’s still standing outside by the vault. I did go out and come back into my game but I still couldn’t progress. Any ideas on how to reset my vault so I can finish this?

Hey there, gamers! Thank you for sharing your insight here in the comments! I've learned some very important things that I'd like to add here!
First, you'll actually get even more mist from the realms when your hourglass is level 2 or 3. At level 2 you'll get 500 mist on the realms. At level 3 you'll get 500 mist and occasionally you'll get glimmer instead of mist or in addition to mist.
Second, using your royal hourglass is undoubtedly the fastest way to get mist. The reason the video focuses on both duties and time bending is because of the communities differing playstyles. You have 2 strong options to generate mist. Number one would be to go crazy with time bending. Use your hourglass in the valley, on the isle, and in the realms with a strong companion. The second would be focusing on tasks and duties. While the second option will get you less mist, it will allow you generate mist while you gather new resources, collect new critters, rank up in scramblecoin, harvest new crops, and unlock new areas.
Third, you don't have to give monkeys banana splits or banana ice cream to get credited for favorite food. I'm aware that an NPC mentions the monkeys loving banana ice cream… but I only feed my monkeys, "Pastry Cream and Fruit," a 5-star dessert with no bananas. It always counts as a favorite. Personally, pastry cream and fruit is one of my all time favorite meals to make and use. I always have it on me, and that's what I always give the monkeys. So no, you luckily do NOT have to go out of your way to make a bunch of banana splits or banana ice creams. 😂
In addition, I tested a large seafood platter on the monkeys today, and it did eat it, but it did NOT count as a favorite meal. It looks like they may only prefer desserts. I'll conduct more testing.

I have found the favorite for monkey is any 5 star meal which registers as a favorite in the achievements.
The monkeys liked foods is any 3 & 4 star meal and doesn’t register as a favorite in the achievements.

Can someone help me understand what the big mist balls do. I interacted with one and it made a circle around me and few seconds later it disappeared. Im a little confused of what I should have done in the circle.
Also, I don't know if this was a glitch for me or if it was the same for others as well, but for some reason the red dot/notification for my Eternity Isle tasks doesn't pop up. So, as a result, when I first realized this, I had rows completed and I didn't even know. Now I have to remember to frequently check because the notification dot doesn't show up for me when Eternity Isle tasks are complete, but all the others do. I don't know if it is a glitch for everyone, but it is for me and worth noting or letting people know, so they're not missing out on mist.

My god, you are an absolute genius. What can i say, but many thanks for sharing this and making life easier for us. Your tips for relocating trees etc, i should know that, it's basic, as we did it in the valley. I think i just got overwhelmed with exploring and going back and forth for the star path. Obtaining as much mist as possible is key, as we literally need it for everything and having to sacrifice some for opening biomes, upgrading your hourglass etc, has been challenging. But, we got all the time in the world..

Has anyone noticed that using the timebending crafting table thing ( cant remember the name) it doesn't take items from chests you have to have it in your inventory?
