The Great Katana might not have a flashy new Weapon Skill, but it'll be the one to most fit the most builds as it has very low Strength and Dexterity Requirements, and is the only Great Katana that can be infused with Ashes of War! That means you can change its scaling and damage type to suit your needs. I've been using it to take down the Ghostflame Dragons with Holy Damage, it's been tremendously effective despite the fact I have almost no points in Strength, Dexterity, or Faith.
And whats great is theres nothing stopping me from putting an Int based Ash of War on their and actually taking advantage of my scaling!
