2:16 idk, its difficult to say. I love BG3 and couldn't be happier to see it achieve such praise but the realty is that whilst it is just simply good it did also essentially win the random dial spin of zeitgeist popularity and trendiness too. For example, both Divinity: Original Sin 2 and Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous are equals to BG3 in allot of ways and even successors in others yet are still mere shadows in comparison.

I thank Dragon Age: The Veilguard! Without shitty products (not games!) like this we wouldn't get the content and memes that put it in its place.

The issue is the same that movies and tv shows have nowadays. First of all is bad writing, second lazy writing and third the tell dont show philosophy. (Instead of show dont tell)

i'll fight you in the comments, Bioware's best game is Neverwinter Nights, maybe BDG1&2, Ice Wind? literally any previous BioWare game is better than every DA, the first one is the only one up to standard.

The character trailers from inquisition were amazing. I loved how they were introduced and gives you a good flavour without name tags

everything good must come to a end…hopefully new stuidos will step up and make new games that will appeal to majority of players. stuidos like larien studios or stardew valley dev are where games are today. the old guard is dead.
I hate games where you don’t think or when you do think you’re just counting points. I’m strictly referring to the combat. It’s why i don’t like the combat on origins. No way in hell lol. Just can’t sit there and do that mindless ish. Inquisition is the best fantasy game ive ever played but it’s still lacking. What i want is a AC Odyssey/ DAI game. Im not even gonna talk about the mindless chaotic combat for veilgaurd
