In today’s video we’re chilling in the modding section of Tarkov, looking mainly at Level 3 AKM’s to fire BP ammo. Until you get workbench 3 or finish Punisher 5, BP can be hard to get access too, so these builds are designed to be used at around this middling level 25-30ish stage of progression.

What's your favourite efficient AKM build right now?
I wish there was a round in between ps and bp that wasn’t as hard to get but still a little better than ps
I think it would be awesome if bsg added 7.62×39 bz. In real life it’s penetration abilities sit between ps and bp, so it could be priced similarly to 5.45 bt or m856a1.

Hey beef, you should run through my "budget" vpo build. Vpo 136, walther over the front gasblock with the gasvlock/toprail handguard. Yhat is all, it's stupid cheap.

On hiatus from Tarkov for now, but still love watching your videos! The AK has a soft spot in my heart, love the chonky workhorse aesthetic combined with in-game cost-effective parts. Tarkov has completely spoiled me with its gun customization whenever I play other shooters. D:

if you want to go with the horizontal rk-1 grip just get a CQR foregrip from the flea, its about 10k more expensive but it is the best in slot for -3 recoil grips
Everyone forgets about the US Palm grip for aks. It's on par with the rk3 and it's cheap as hell.
If you are on a tight budget. Just get the RRD, rubber butt pad and the M1-B gas tube & handguard from Skier level 1. Use iron sights. 20k ish in attatchments and you have a usable gun that no one picks up. Sometimes they take the RRD, but most of the time I get it back. Recoil is on the higher end though. Full auto is pretty controllable when you are crouching though.
The B-25U RK1 will always be worth the 100% extra roubles because the canted foregrip is 100% cooler haha
I don't understand why some people wouldn't have the max durability boxed checked? If I'm buying something I want it to be max.
Timely .. i am 3 kills away from finishing Punisher 5, and 1 quest from finally getting all traders to lvl 3. Jaeger has been holding out. I find that if people you have wooden parts on your weapon you will often get it back on insurance.
the fucked up thing about videos like this is "Monkey see,…Monkey do"…..UFM handguard i last checked was 28,000 …not so cheap anymore…now that people know..this isnt such a "budget" bbuild……fuck these videos…..

stylish is really important in tarkov.
If you are running ak butt pad. You autometically lose to the stylish ak guy. Cus you are cheap butt pad guy.
I really enjoy the efficient LL4 traders builds. so many people focus budget builds on lower level traders, but some of us really enjoy getting the most bang-for-buck, even at max traders!
I don't understand why people think Tarkov is a complicated game. It's just so simple.

@gigabeef also notice the SRD suppressor that trades against a raven (but skier lvl 4) and thus has really good value (t-lok + SRD + muzzle combo, both in ergo, recoil and loudness )

If you wanna spend like 10k more for a gun you can do pretty much the same thing but to 103 which will have slightly less recoil and higher ergo

The AK101 with the Krebs handguard was one of my favorite goto guns last wipe. Haven't really tried one this wipe yet, mostly been running MDR's for 556 or Mutants for 7.62×39. Either way this looks great, very helpful stuff as always, cheers!
Why you not talking about the 2.7 MOA that gun has?
why go budget when the ammo is so expensive anyways. 3 full mags of bp costs more than the gun itself
