How To Build A Successful Brand Through Social Media In 2023

Today’s episode is a virtual keynote I gave recently. I discuss why it’s so important for people to understand that brand is built on social, why I’m more interested in the interest graph over the social graph, web 3.0 and the consumer blockchain, and how to create a high volume of content at an efficient cost, and much more!

  1. Isn't he saying what everyone has said about social media marketing from the get-go, that content is king. If you make good content then you will do well on social. If it's boring or has no value then no one will stick around.

  4. $2000 for 600 pieces of content, thats $3.33 for piece. Even fiverr can't offer that. Imagine how shitty will it be for that price, 20 pieces a day. Indian designers will not even handle that. So good luck Gary. Next time your viewer will come and request 600 pieces of content for $2000 form a content creative because Gary told them, make sure you have an answer for them on who will create those? VeynerMedia? Hit me up when you'll offer such prices on content, I'll be your #1 client.

  5. Hey @GaryVee what would be your starting point to do our 50 Hours about Web 3.0? I'm ready to take the time, I'm not too sure where to start… I always come back to your content brother. Since 10+ years already

  6. I still have NO idea what the blockchain is or does or why it is needed. Lots of people tried to explain it and I just do not understand it. I feel stupid which I am not. But it is just not understandable, feelable and graspable for lots of people.

  7. Ive allowed my bullshit anxiety to keep me from being entrepreneurial, today is my 40th birthday, my car broke down today and my homes well pump went out today. I'm miserable. I feel like the only shot I have is to build myself into a brand on social media, but I don't know how to do that in a way that insures success. I need help

  8. Hi, I'm Kevin a young Frenchy from Paris 🙂 Great piece of content, always ahead on what will be next! What will be the trade-offs for traditional brands to shift to a more consumer blockchain ecosystem? Thanks

  9. I held back from making content because I wear the niqab, but slowly instagram started showing me successful women that wear the niqab, from personal trainers to business coaches. I definitely need to stop being so hard on myself and start posting. ❤ thanks G.

  10. Key takeaways:

    – Brands are built on social media
    – Prioritize creativity first, then use the data that will get them in front of the right people
    – Marketing leads to sales, not the other way around.
    – Spend your 50 hours learning about what the consumer blockchain does.
    – Gross < Net

  11. Hi GV and team. Thank you so much for popping in definitions of the marketing terms. I have been watching a long time and have (mostly) figured out what many of those things mean in context, but it's super helpful to have the definitions to make sure I'm understanding.

  12. What do you do if you have an idea for something but homeatly just don’t have the network, and you are willing to do the work but you know you’ll need a software developer at the least, but you don’t want them to just take it and run with it
