How To Build A Dropship Drone In Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

We’re here to show you how to build your very own Dropship Drone, a contraption that hovers above enemies and rains down destruction, and at the same time deploys a second drone to attack on the ground! You might be wondering how to make this yourself, so we’ll show you how to create it, what parts are needed, and how each piece in this contraption works together in Tears of the Kingdom. This machine has two parts, the main flying dropship, and the deployable ground drone. The idea was inspired by Pelicans from the Halo universe, so you can kind of see the idea behind this creation.

  1. I didn't include specific Zonai Device Dispenser locations to reduce spoilers, but if you want to know where they are to find specific parts, we linked a Dispenser map in the description above! Happy hunting! 😄

  2. So I just built it, launched it. Rockets did not provide boost, I believe because the ground was uneven and one of the stakes anchored it to the ground. Needless to say EVERYTHING went to pieces and the cannons blasted the whole thing away 😅 30 minutes wasted as I loaded saved game WITHOUT first saving it into Autobuild.

  3. Today I finally tried playing with stuff like this. MANY problems…
My hover piece doesn't hover.. My rocket doesn't always work. My build won't stay in the air… and my lazers aim at nothing in the sky.

  4. Built, tested… LOVE IT! With max battery it takes out enemy camps no issue. Costs almost 70 zonite from full zonite build but if you drop the required mats first (or most of them) it isn't so bad. There's also a little room for improvement with replacing the lights with weapons…

  6. If a rocket is connected by it's thruster flat to an object, it will disconnect from all it's adjacent materials and not use any of it's durability.

This makes rockets great for deploying mechanisms.

  7. There's room for improvement: using only one rocket should be sufficient, since more rocket don't increase travel distance, then attaching the ground drone to said rocket would save a battery.
