  1. Spellcasting! Once you have fed a nice meal to Grell, the blue gorilla-lookalike, you get the Charm spell. It works really well in the Scorching Cavern, you can paralyse any number of mobs for a decent while. That gives you a chance to smack 2 or 3 of them to the ground, before they reanimate. Cast Charm again … da capo, da capo!
    There are actually some foods that either buff your mining prowess, or your attack value! Mine faster, getting more mileage out of your Gone Potion. Smack'em harder! I am not sure if you can run both types at the same time. I'll have to fire up the game to test it (but my toon is past having to worry about any of that).
    What pissed me off is, that you can practically only brew the medium and large Gone potions after finishing the game … you just don't get access to the ingredients before. So what's the point any more at that time? Just yet one other bad design decision 😞
