In the aftermath of the Battle of Hoth, the Alliance fleet initiated a scattering of their ships, as they tried to divide the Imperial fleet’s resources, and delay a total destruction of their High Command. In a mission named Operation Starlight, after the former beacon in the Outer Rim, the Rebel fleet formulated a scheme to get the fleet back together. Their first task was to fix their communication, which had already been deciphered by Commander Zahra and her fleet, so they obtained an ancient droid, which used the extinct language of Trawak. With the Rebellion now able to counter-attack, they started to focus on destroying Imperial factories, until the second Death Star was revealed on Zastiga, and they could gather all their ships to meet over Sullust.
