  1. “only let them get to the 9 yard line”, really sums how dominant Jacksonville’s defense played.
    A lot of great defenses are starting to show. Ya gotta love the mystery of the first few weeks of the season

  2. Baalke and Pederson built their defense to deal with run heavy teams in the division, the Colts and Titans. We'll see how it plays out this season but you can see their logic of taking Walker and Lloyd in the first round.

    This is a real testament to the the impact consistent pressure on a QB can have.
    And they use finesse rather than brute force, e.g., Allen's takedown at 01:10. He could have hammered Ryan but saw he was already going down and just gave him a pull. Seldom discussed is the wear and tear high impact hits have on the hitter. By playing 'clean' they keep themselves healthier and ready to dominate the next play.
