I am currently touring the USA, I visited hersheys theme park to find out all the staff are nearly special needs 😮 I felt mortified on some rides seeing who was in charge of my safety 😮 a couple of times the rides had to stop as safety equipment wasn't correctly set 😮

To top it off, Alaska Airlines had known for 2 or 3 previous flights that there was a problem with that hatch or whatever you call it that blew off and decided to keep flying the aircraft anyway, just not over the Pacific in case they need to make an emergency landing. I guess you can do no wrong as long as you follow the DEI rules.

I have airplane pilots, military pilots and helicopter pilots in my extended family. I wouldn't call them perfectly healthy individuals — they all would score high in psychopathy evaluation imo. But I would always choose a psychopath to be in charge of my flight over mentally challenged low IQ imbesile.

I recall a conversation with a former aircraft manufacturing employee who claimed that the grief the workers would get for miss fitting a rivet just wasn't worth it so they would just beat the rivet down anyway.
This safety issue has been my concern for many years. The low standards are the rule in every aspect of our lives including health care. This country has ditched quality in favour of colour. I remember long time ago Time magazine published an article about high standards of taxi drivers in the UK 'if a nude young woman hails a taxi at midnight in front of a bar the taxi will drop her safely to her home" the magazine wrote. I don't think that can happen these days.
I think the idea of flying is being removed.
