  1. United did well in short spells for the first half. Defended well to park the bus properly.

    For the 2nd half, they were hanging on to dear life.

    Haaland stuck the post. Alvarez missed a sitter. City gave away a cheap 1st half goal from a freak mistake.

    Ten Hag didn't break anything. It's easier to sit deep and counter as an underdog, as compared to creating chances with a dominant position/expectation.

  2. That was the ONLY way we could've beaten them with the lack of squad depth, it's not rocket science, it was simple, they each had their instructions and jobs but the way that it worked was not one player was able to be selfish, it could only happen in a cup game.
