The stupid thing about prey was how much damage the predator took on, especially when the bear significantly messed it up, yet it never showed it had been injured. It had several muscles and tendons severed, yet it walked like it took zero injury. Other than that it was a good movie.
Not felling the idea that the Predator actually forgot how it’s own targeting system works. Kinda dumb.

I thought "meh." But after further thought, maybe I need to watch it again. I came to the conclusion that the reason the Pred didn't use more advanced weaponry against the natives and the beasts was to make the prey more of a challenge. Some weaponry was used later against the trappers since they had firearms and posed more of a threat. And also, the Preds are all individuals, each different in how they follow their kinds' codes and customs. The one in this movie appeared to be of the kind that hunts other Preds, as shown in the movie PREDATORS.
For me it was the FORTH best predator film I still thing predator 2 and predators are better then this film the first one is always gonna be the best hands down it was a movie ahead of its time

I disagree with the concept that the Yautja in Prey has less evolved weaponry. It already had the cloaking tech and could do interstellar travel. It's just that Yautjas choose their preferred weapon much like us.

I find it interesting that the predator just happened upon the 1 in a million female that wanted to be a warrior. It was a decent movie though. It needed subtitles when they were speaking French, but I guess it's a Canadian film.
End scene is ridiculous. Anybody know the targeting system of a fighter jet ( the ground laser and the missile ). Can you imagine a soldier on the ground points the laser on the jet and the jet pilot is too stupid too recognize the fact that he's targeting himself.
