How One Vetoed Trade Stopped A Potential NFL Dynasty… #shorts

This is an NFL short that I made on the biggest forgotten vetoed trade in NFL history. A player as good as John Elway was stopped from being traded to the raiders stopping a potential dynasty. Anyway, if you enjoyed this video at all then like and comment if you want, and you can even subscribe if you think I’ve earned it.

This is an NFL news video on the biggest NFL trades that almost happened, and this video focuses entirely on one singular trade that was vetoed. What are some NFL trades that you believe need to happen, and how will they effect the rest of the American football league? So far there have been some crazy NFL trades 2022 that have shaped the league as we know it, and some after even resulted in NFL crazy moments, and several forgotten NFL trades.

  1. Raiders should have sued for interference…. the inability to aquire .a good QB…let alone a HOF Elway like QB cost the Raiders ..2 or 3
SUPER BOWLS..so Al Davis had a case to sue ….a fair settlement would be forcing Elway to become a Yankee so no advantage could be gained with Broncos getting Elway…. Pete Reselle was a c*nt

  2. Pete Rozelle and Al Davis did not get along at that time. Rozelle had tried to prevent Al Davis from moving the Raiders from Oakland to LA. Davis took the NFL to court and won. That many be the reason they NFL prevented the trade.

  3. Worst example of this imo was when they vetoed the trade of TO to the Ravens.

Granted TO probably would have held out, because he wanted to hit Free Agency, and he was the one who filed the grievance that undid the trade, but maybe the Ravens find a price that he would play for and then who knows what happens? Kyle Boller was a first round QB for the Ravens who had a lot of physical tools, maybe an elite receiver early on helps him put up numbers that give him time to develop.

This was the prime of Ray Lewis and Ed Reed’s time with the Ravens, and I’m still kind of salty about the wasted potential of that defense because Kyle Boller and Troy Smith couldn’t run an offense.

  4. Elway handing to Allen and throwing to Branch and Christiansen, with guys like Haynes, Hayes, and Alzado on defense? Yeah, that would’ve been cool.

But Howie Long joining fellow HoF linemen Richard Dent and Dan Hampton and Pro Bowler Steve McMichael on the front four of Buddy Ryan’s 46 defense, with Mike Singletary behind them? The ‘85 Bears might have actually gone undefeated rather than dropping that game to Miami.
