  1. I have nothing against Ode's writing style during the new world. I like it, although in places it is very overloaded with details, but because of this, many moments are detailed and the arches seem to be quite solid, despite the fact that not all moments are needed by these arches. I'm glad that Oda reduced the number of characters, because in the final saga we already have a large cast of heroes. And he will be able to devote time to the main characters, and in general I don’t think that we need the same preparation as the preparation for Wano, because for this we had the whole story, everything prepared us for the final war.

  2. Well varity in anything sounds interesting if it done in a good way or else it would simply feel monotonous, well we enjoyed onepiece before but now we enjoy it even more it's like a second birth of storytelling for one piece.

  3. Once again, maybe it's too soon to analyze this aspect. We're still not sure if more characters will appear, many times random characters just appear in the middle of the arc xD
But it's easy to assume that this arc and the Elbaf one that probably will come soon won't last too much because the larger fight is about to happen and it will take some time and MANY characters involved already. So I can see you being right about this, I agree.

  4. marineford and inmpel down already had tons of side characters despite you distorting to just whine about later arcs, the world building needs the character variety and its needed to the quirk way he builds their arcs, its never been only about the mcs since the starts (stories like chouchou who arent a big deal but are beautiful arcs on their own) this is some revisionism because you didnt cope with your personal fanfics to each character arc not materializing or he not going full law/ace/favorites like worse authors do, large casts are part of the heart of the story

  5. Idk about that first point cause we still have 7 vegapunks. Sure they're different parts of 1 character but…i mean at the end of the day it's 7 characters who all have different personalities that all would act separately from their combined self.

What's wrong with 5 vegapunks? Or 4? Or realistically we'd only need 3. Original, Lucy and Shaka. Did we need an entire character to eat, shit and sleep?

  6. Honestly after just catching up on my hero i was really starting to feel over one piece. The pacing of it is so slow and half the time your just watching people run. Even with the increased pace it still seems like Oda just wants to build hype but not really show anything. When you build this much hype it just becomes so difficult to live up to the expectations. Like why not just show us the full fight and outcome with black beard and law? Nope! Gotta build the hype. Why only give sprinkles of dragon and shanks for 20 years of the show? Gotta build the hype. It make no sense to cram everything into this last final arc and im certain people are going to be disappointed

  7. I love ODA showed parts of law vs Blackbeard . He normally offscreens things like this . Loving the pacing post wano. In Twitter terms , “ODA been cooking !” 🙏🏾😮‍💨

  8. I don't think it's good if the story from now on only revolves around resolving the essential plot points. The small stuff around them makes the big reveals feel epic. I like that we are getting so many big reveals, but some padding is necessary to make the essential story elements pop out.

  9. I kinda disagree. You were probably just summing everything up but I do think a lot of it is necessary and adds a lot more to characters. It could have definitely been done at a more efficient pace but I think it makes the world so much more alive.

I also wish Oda did split the arcs up but definitely in a more efficient way to make the journey thru the new world feel more like an adventure.

  10. I honestly wanted Oda to have his own pace with the story. I hope he doesn't rush the ending too much. I don't want One Piece to be another GOT where the producers fked up the whole show just because they wanted to end it.

  11. It'd be kinda cool to see Oda do a series after One Piece where he expands on certain bits in the story that were cut or not told before either for time or cause it would spoil future reveals. It wouldn't necessarily be canon but it wouldn't really be not canon.
Like seeing what all the big names did behind the scenes during Straw hats early journeys or what all the big battles (Edd war, god valley, kuzan vs sakazuki, moriah vs kaido, etc etc) looked like.
We could also see some retelling of past events that would have occured had Oda had all the time i the world. Maybe get more info on Ace's crew, law's crew, or kid's crew.

  12. I sure hope so.
Wano really was a drag and the end had basically no impact on me.
The last arc that really blew me away was Dressrosa and the end of WCI was still a good wtf moment.
But Wano burned me out, no real emotional moments, a main character that had no moment of struggle… it was painful.

  13. I guess my only point of contention here is the idea that the side characters were intrusive in the past, but intrusive now. For example with the yakuza bosses, they're a classic example of bonus characters just there to fill out the roster of characters (and in turn give us direct connections to the people Hyogoro led), but they also don't take up that much screen time so they're not particularly intrusive either.

Are there too many side characters? Yes, but I also don't think any one of them sticks out too bad. If anything I think some of the issues Wano had were having too many MAIN characters who impacted the plot, not giving some of them time to shine.

  14. I do agree that Oda has come a long way in pacing, and that the efficiency of these chapters is really impressive, and have been so much fun to read.
That being said, i do feel like what everyone says when asked what they like about One Piece is "its world" and while the casts have certainly gotten bloated (wano especially) thats a big part of what makes Oda's world feel so lived in. Im excited to see how he balances those two ideas going forward

  15. I just like and subscribe to this chanel because of what you just tell us and point it out about how seems oda will do for the rest of the One Piece story. Also I would like to hear about how Luffy as a "choesen person" aka joyboy i mean how this is possible? Like from what sircumstance that he is the chosen one? Is it because he is the son from D family? Or in some way he is a grand-grand-grand son of joyboy himself. Cause being a person like Luffy, the chosen one is like being a Messiah in some way. The one who will change the reality of the world today into something else, something different from what we know of this world. Where the idea came from?

  16. Big Meme the great ally of her enemies ( k.o page 1 and ulti) ( liberated luffy from prison, etc), kaido the big bitch.

All the yonko and wano build up, all these years, time and energy for the stupidity of oda to destroy all. Dont be suprise if one piece end like AOT, I am expecting the worst after wano and the current egghead arc.

Please oda do not bring big meme, you can not repare the non sens you did with her, keep her far away from the story.

Wano killed the tension, stakes of the story, There are no enemies left just Ym and blackbeard, and oda is destroying blackbeard making him out to be a clown, runnsss away from Raleigh, gets the bitch treatment from Law, oda loves to destroy what he has build up for years !

At this point in Time Luffy and his alliance ( the strawhats and the grand fleet, wano, yamato, shanks and his crew, the revolutionaries, garp, etc, etc.) can just head to marigeoise and destroy it, if oda does not change some things one piece is heading for a disaster.

Wano is the crack on the Titanic and water is coming in making the ship sink.

The pacing in egghead is even slowing down and where is the devil fruit explanation, oda tortured us for years with wano, what a torture wano was. oda keep the pace and move faster.

But in the end, oda is probably going to destroy one piece.

One piece was a good ride.
