I need to play Octavia more honestly. That's a lot of buffs for one frame and I can see hkw she can bore many players, but for me I'm all about broken frames like music girl.
Octavia's limitation is how long your fingers will last with how much you gotta teabag while using her.
I only use her for farming schools only, that's it that's how boring she is
For me Octavia is good for solo gamer to higher rank of level cause more on she is more on endurance type

So I tend to be a more laid-back player that’s why she has (past tense as I’m not playing warframe at the min) ended up as my main, no one is ever going to say “”oh no it’s Octavia get out of our team”” well unless you are one of them people that actually use her to play songs that get on peoples nerves.
Also it can be funny watching melee mobs run around like mad men chasing her ball I should make the music should like the Benny hill song just for moments like that.
Ngl I fall asleep trying to grind in this game a lot. Though straight up once Octavia's abilities are up the game plays itself for about a minute and uh yeah that's her kit. I don't even remember anything other than activate her 1,2,3,4 and just spam crouch.
Octavia's also in the subset of frames where playing to the gimmick as presented, makes the Warframe worse. In her case, trying to actually make anything resembling proper music will make the buffs either more inconsistent, or micromangaging to the point where it will actually become difficult to play her.
So those who try and engage with the unique gimmick will end up unimpressed or annoyed with her, and everyone else is basiclaly ignoring the selling concept of the frame and just muting the mandachord and stacking notes on every beat.

Amp does not max out at 200%, while you are describing team usage its at 350%. I have personally gotten that to almost 600%.
Octavia is my most hated frame in all of Warframe. Her kit bores me to no end. She is the frame in the most dire need of a rework.
Naw, fam. Octavia sucks. She's strong as shit but when the payoff is the game stops being fun to play, then it's a failure of a concept.
And the biggest middle finger is that songwriting isn't even that fun. Instruments cost plat and any creativity is snuffed out by how limited everything is. ESPECIALLY since the Shawzin is a PROPER INSTRUMENT that can be played in warframe. We have Titania and Yareli showing that pre-existing mechanics can be repurposed into frame concepts and I fully believe that thing that nobody really pays attention to would make Octavia a great frame.
Would she be game-breakingly OP? Probably not.
But I'd rather have a shit frame that's fun than a broken one that's boring.
I haven't watched the video yet but I wanted to respond to the title and say she actually revitalized my love for warframe when I started to feel a bit of burnout lol
If I need something done, Octavia is the frame I use. She’s so easy to use, I get insane buffs for just doing what I was going to do anyway. Just make sure I have a really loud weapon. I will admit, she’s pretty boring, I’d say she was easily the most powerful frame.
She's literally the best Warframe I never use, and is all because of her gameplay. I still have her Prime as I like collecting Warframes, but have touched hers since I fit the build from the original.
I hate Octavia if I join a pub with one I just exit and try again, she takes all the fun out for everyone else in the squad
The mandachord is basically the synthesizer and her abilities are the speakers with her 4 being the amp
I just wish they would give us a toggle option to look how wisp looks invisible. That way for those who want to keep the clear invisibility can just keep it toggle off
CHROMA NEEDS A REWORK AND MAJOR BUFFS
I remember I got octavia before the prime even came out, I had to stop playing her because she made the game too trivial

All she needs are her passive buffed, her 3 buffs to all be given on cast without having to jump through hoops, the invis removed, the armor buff increased and likely changed to flat armor, and her ult either be hold to cast to follow her like Lucio or just do that in all cases. This also allows them to make mallet do 2x damage in amp.
She's a bard, let her be a bard by drawing attention and wanting to be front and center buffing her team.
Either DE has no imagination when it comes to frames, or they are just lazy, probably lack of time being busy pumping out more crap other than refining the game.
this is how my thought process for octavia goes but keep in mind im a creative personality so my thoughts get filtered through that lens. For me octavia seems cool but i get lazy when i think about creating the melodies and beats for her ability, im creative enough that i dont want to half ass it, but lazy enough to not want to do it despite thinking she's cool. End result is me never actually getting octavia
A great way to make her a bit more active is her 2 augment. Using her Resonance as a targetted AoE to relocate where it's needed the most does a lot to make her a lot less "boring" even if I never really thoight of her that way. Since Mallet works on LOS, having to reposition your Resonance to work around obstacles keeps you aware of what's going on with the field, and you can always disable the augment as needed to let the ball free roam.
Again, I never really thought of Octavia as boring, just less ability-active than other Frames, needing her to put more into her gunwork to stay active while having to maintain her uptime. Her biggest "issue" is that the optimal way to play her js to have her Mandachord have every slot filled, which makes for awful, annoying music. But the gulf between "optimal' and "casual" isn't that significant, so I just made "Bloody Tears" and roll with that.

She's a great, S tier frame that wont be for long if people keep trying to maje her popular. Just leave her be – you know how DE is. Look what they did to Wu Kong – for no other reason but that he was popular. Let us have SOMETHING.

I'm new to the game by the way but i have access to all the frames and mostly seems like have something missing except octavia she doesnt even need helmith to band-aid some ability.
