How Mikel Arteta Just BROKE Man City's System

It’ll never do down as a classic, but Manchester City and Arsenal’s 0-0 draw was a fascinating one from a tactical perspective. Both Pep Guardiola and Mikel Arteta made massive changes to their side as the game progressed, but with the draw far better for Arsenal, it’s the student rather than the teacher who can claim to have come out on top.

Adam Clery examines how, with just one slightly better decision in the final third, the 3 points would have gone back to North London.

  1. It's simple, they parked the fooking bus😂😂😂and there's nothing wrong with that it just amazes me how Assna fans consider this an insult instead of embracing it😂🤦🤡

  2. Trossard first time ball – brave to play it – but it wouldve been brilliant. If it doesnt work out, thats the risk of a quick counter. Hes normally so good with his decision making and hes good with both feet, so it was disappointing to see.

  3. Ok, as a neutral the game was a little boring, but I nearly spit my coffee out when Guardiola went for the Grealish + Doku sub. So rather unlike him to seek chaos like that.

  4. I think City already lifted the heavy weight for this Premier League season. They only got Spurs left and big games at the UCL.

Altough I think it's totally manageable for Pep.

If they City is focused, they can smoke Madrid.

Arsenal tough still got Bayern and some heavy weights in the Premier League: Villa, Chelsea, Spurs, United.

My money would be on City doing The Trebble again, if I was into betting.

  5. I know he's never leaving, but when there were rumours of Arteta going to Barcelona after Xavi, so many Barcelona fans dismissed him and called him a joke. As a Barcelona supporter it frustrates me to see how dumb our fanbase is.
