  1. ( 4:17… 4:21 … 4:31 ) I think we have to be fair in our consideration that vampires of lore have been known to have varying "Dark Gifts" some based in magic some non-mystical in nature. It's even been pondered that Dracula himself is a full-fledged shape-shifter. Even in previous issues, when Dracula faced Apocalypse, he was able to use mesmerizm an ancient mutant as powerful as Apocalypse. I think it's fair to say, there are a gambit of powers that having a lot that will be aligning with Dracula but others that blade just may not have access to or have previously had access to because they were not a part of his powerset.

    🤔 . . . ( 5:55 & 6:25 ) I have to wonder if she is on par with or stronger than Lilith. Her power set there's a striking similarity but because of her age I'm wondering who's more powerful. 🤔 …. 9:31

    Does Marvel own the rights to "Blacula"☝🏽😳 ? One has to wonder.

  2. I'm just wondering what the fallout will be regarding Blade drinking Dracula's blood and being tutored by "the most evil sumbitch Blade knows". I mean, ultimately, nothing good can come of this, right? When does Dracula call in his favor? And what will it cost Blade?

    Also, I have to assume not all vampires can do the mist/creatures of the night thing, right? Otherwise, they would all just turn to mist when Blade is attacking them with physical weaponry, and then materialize behind Blade and kill him. How can you fight what you can't touch?

  13. The powerboost is turning him into a side character in his own show focusing on three young girls facing the patriarchy of evil white male vampires i cant make this up that from the actual blade script no wonder the actor playing blade wanted to walk out lol

  19. 4:24 This is why every month or every other month at least 3 of the last writers of runs of a character need to have sit down meetings and let everyone know what they were doing with the character & what they planned for either in person or on a private discord company server. Cause this is too much of a problem

  20. As cool as this is, why is it that every superhero has to have a power-up (or multiple power-ups)? People can argue that it opens up more writing possibilities for the characters, but I don’t buy it.

  21. Drinking Draculas blood doesn’t give Blade new powers. It was an exercise used by Dracula that helps remove a mental block Blade had. He’s never thought of himself as a vampire, he’s always leaned more to being human. It means that deep down he’s always had this ability but he refused to use them or embrace them.

    He did change into a bat in the Avengers of the supernatural but he was under mind control or a clone. In Jason Aaron’s Avengers run it’s the first time I’ve seen him written as more overtly vampire. In that run the bat transformation happened in an altered reality. I will say since Al Ewings Mighty Avengers Blade had been treated more as a master of the occult and supernatural more consistently

  24. I don't like this. They are over powering Blade. A lot of creators need to realize that giving a character more powers or amping up a characters existing powers isn't always a good thing and often ends up making said character less interesting and less likeable. One of the reasons why many people often say that Superman is "too boring" is because he has been made too damn powerful over the years.

  25. Blade doing that in Heroes Reborn was an alternate really were like Bishop in AoA, Blade was the only one that remembered the was the world was. I wanted if he kept that ability after, and it looked like he didn't. But than there was him teaching that young vamp, and now he doesn't and needs to learn it from Dracula? In Sensational She-Hulk vol 2 #5 we see Daimon Hellstrom make an appearance, and its revealed that his the King of Hell again? Well more like King of his father Lucifer's part of Hell, but still when did that happen and wish they showed it.

  26. Oh, I GET IT by drinking Dracula's blood and teaching Blade how to embrace the thing he despises Dracula is going to make Blade more EVIL which will allow Blade to wield The Lightbringer with much greater effectiveness
