As tension builds in the Indo-Pacific region and around the world, the United States military is training Army soldiers, Navy sailors, Marines, and Air Force airmen to be ready for war. But thereβs more to the military than combat. Fueling these future warfighters are culinary specialists tasked with preparing, cooking, and serving thousands of meals a day. In 2024, βBoot Campβ went inside US military training programs and colleges to find out what it takes to join the ranks of those willing to protect and serve their country.

How Marines, Army Soldiers, And Navy Sailors Are Training For War | Boot Camp | Business Insider

As a marine im skatin as we speak rahhhh
All I see are robots. Programmed. I have respect for the army but at the same time breaking a human into millions of pieces and re-building them into a new individual is⦠inhumane. You lose a part of you.
I would know better because my friend is a captain and honestly he can be cold hearted. As if a human side of him is gone. Heβs alone, not married, no kids and emotionally unstable. Itβs sad.
Cringe woke training
Do one on the army mountain warfare school or the artic warfare school
how? training ukraine and syria then poland
Lolππππππ the Navy isn't training for war I know personally
I saw 2 of my old RDC's in one video (I wish I wasn't separated)
Putin is looking alot better than JFK during the bay of pigs. What an embarrassment. NATO basically restarted the cold war in reverse. Do Americans forget WE invaded Cuba? Nato set up on Russia's doorstep. Nato started the war, not Putin.
Isnβt decisive modern warfare gonna be drones and cyber attacks in the future anyways?
we are so cooked
Plain old brain-washing.
not how I remember my chowhall in 93 at MCRD
i fully respect the US military cooks. they are no less important than the boots on the warfighters feet
The sad reality is the average "troop" in any branch can barely do 3 pull-ups π’!
Does the army still give rainbow ribbons for throwing a practice grenade?
Even though it wasn't my cycle it was cool to see my old drill sergeants
15 years ago since I graduated the army boot camp itβs so sad that the American military has gone so soft
You americans might want to adjust your techniques. You haven't won a war for decades, unless you want include your bully actions in Grenada and Panama.
I served in the Army after I completed my contract I joined the Navy. I had to go through Navy Boot as well. Its no comparison. Army life and boot is by far the greatest challenge.
0:24 ngl the airmen looks like mcloven
Bro got the worst mres
dont join the us military
As cool as all this looked the reality is that removing test requirements and waiving shit has turned the us military into a laughing stock of fast food rejects and cry babies. Thank god for the defense budget because in any kind of real peer conflict the Chinese would smoke the US like a crack pipe.
4 hours!?!?! What is this…..
One and only thing I kinda regret in life is not going into the military. I graduated in 06 so 9-11 was still fairly fresh and really wanted to fight for my country. Took the ASFAB or what ever it's called and scored high enough that I was told I could do pretty much what ever I wanted. Never really had a branch I was committed to, just figured army was it. Now entering my later 30s….. As a split single father of two and wayyyyy out of shape, I don't think they would even want me. But coming from a family that has had at least 1 person from every generation and been in every way since the civil…..I would still like to help my country in some way.
