  1. I've provided links for those who are curious:
The current campaign for Veil-Touched: https://gamefound.com/projects/miniwargaming/ravaged-star?refcode=UVrKXQrUPkGJIRncyE209Q Pledge manager closes Fed 28.

New Ravaged Star camping preview page (Follow for a free mini with your pledge on launch later this year)

YOU are the reason this is happening! Thank you everyone!

  2. Where will you be shipping the minis from? I would love to make a late pledge, but I live in Scandinavia and my country has substantial import taxes on anything from outside the EU.

  3. "I'm doing my part" (kid i star ship trooper propaganda commercial) πŸ˜‰ XD
Great video! always fun to see behind the scene. And all wrap up in a fun little story.
I just cant wait until the minis i ordered will a reeve.
Cheers for doing a outstanding job!

  4. Funny enough, thanks to GW sales tactics some "piles of shame" may actually be called "investments" because of the continued price increases and OOP models.

Pretty sure an Tomb Kings Army a few complete units of original Ogre Maneaters could return a nice profit now.
And then there's Emperor Children's stuff. Saw someone on ebay selling Lucius the Eternal, Doom Rider, 3 x 10 Noise Marines, 3 x 10 (old) Chaos Space Marines and a Sonic Dreadnought, painted in Emperors Children colors for a final bid of 3601 EUR.

  5. This is community spirit at its finest. Creating our own games and sharing them.
Say is it known when these will go up for sale outside of a pledge manager?
Will it be on its own online store?

  6. Great…now send us the miniatures.

This was a weird video…a combination flex about the success and commercial to sell your overrun. Obviously, we – the community support you, and we appreciate the acknowledgement, but the clickbait title is for newbs who know nothing about Ravaged Star, and anyone who got in on the original campaign at launch is aware of your background and this project's story.

You've got lots to be proud of, but let's get the product into hands. Save previewing the Immari and a game system and clearing out your excess inventory until after you fulfill the pledges.

  7. These look awesome. Unfortunately, I've blown through my hobby budget for the year already, so I can't back at this time. I'm looking forward to seeing if there is longevity in this system and if I can pick some of these up down the road. Congratulations on a successful campaign.

  9. I don 't like to be a downer but… Aren't these awfully similar to chaos space marines? Looking at the "veil touched" minis, they all look like more detailed versions of the GW line : you have chosen, posessed, obliterators, terminators, rhinos… They even have eight-pointed stars all over their armors and even the weapon design just screams 40k.

Don't get me wrong, those are mighty fine minis, but you had the opportunity to build something completely new and original here. Instead, you chose to make (sorry to say), CSM ripoffs.

Maybe it was intentional to boost sales so people can play them as 40k proxies if they chose to. That may be a good business strategy, but I still feel there's a missed opportunity to build something truly original here.
