  1. A polite correction:
Charles Addams never intended to create the Addams as a latino family…
It wasnt until the TV series that came out in the 60s that the director decided to give Gomez a Castilian (this is from Spain, Europe) background 😉

  2. I thought that dance scene nearly ruined the entire show completely but the rest of the show was actually good enough to save it but you really need to understand how horrible that dance scene actually was and how the show was barely salvageable after that

  3. Wednesday’s Raven ball dance was absolute joy! Her unique creepy but wacky moves were both hilarious and nothing short of brilliance. She has put her unique stamp on her role as Wednesday in both humour, sniper quick and to the point comebacks and unblinking deathstares. I am loving seeing this new brought up to date Wednesday.

  4. Okay, for those who try to understand the German:
Diese armselige Schischrümpfe * gibberisch * auf fress zu halten, übrigens, onefiftyeight Jahre später erfunden.
Those pathetic Schischrümpfe (<-no word, probably she meant Schrumpfköpfe – shrunken and dried heads) * gibberisch * on wolf down to hold. By the way, one fiftyeight years later developed.

Speaking written German is not hard, once you know your pronounciation of the letters. In terms of pronounciation it is much easier than English. Why doesn't holliwood ask a German to come over, when they have German lines? They could let the Germans read out the lines beforehand and let them correct. I am sure there are some living there…

What it "could be" that she wanted to they:
Diese armseligen Schrumpfköpfe sind alles, was sie hier zustande bringen, also müsst ihr halt die fressen. Übrigens, die wurden vor hundertachtundfünfzig Jahren erfunden.

These pathetic shrunkheads is all, they managed to do here. So you gotta wolf those down. Btw. they were invented 158 years ago.

Let me tell you one thing: She didn't learn German…
Like said: Reading lines is easy, I do readings with German learners… when Grammatics and irregular words kick in – that is what makes German a realy complicated language. But a six year old can read really complex sentences out loud, with words he/she never has heard of, after only 2 month of school!

  5. I never liked any of the Addams' kids at all. I watched the old Adam's because of cousin it, thing, uncle fester and above all because I had a big crush on Morticia, she was the main reason for me watching the Adam's family.

I was not so sure about watching any series at all, I watched I think 2 moves of the Addams not because I wanted but because I was invited and as a courtesy I did not say no, but gave it a shot and I did not like them, I was bored (yawn).

But I saw the dance clip in tik tok by many people, and I kind of like the moves, then I realized it was about Wednesday dance, then I saw the clip for the Netflix series of Wednesday dance, and even though tik tok did not have the original song played in the Wednesday series, I like it, and I simply loved the short clip.

I like that this young actress Jenna brought a new fresh look to this character of Wednesday, the dance was sort of sexy and provocative but expressive, in the way that I would think "knowing Wednesday from the original Addams, and also from the movies, that Jenna brought in the dance an expression of what a Wednesday teen would be like.

I simply loved the clip, so I went to Netflix, and watched the first episode, I like how it started, and knowing Wednesday mentality and behavior I knew she was going to take revenge on those who picked on her brother, I think it was hilarious she showed at the swimming pool with some piranhas , but I was still not sure about watching more than the first episode, I actually did not want to watch the Adams Family at all … Again!!!!

But Catherine Zeta Jones was there, and I love her, and love the way she acts, I did not like who played Gomez at all I think they could have chosen a better Gomez instead of having Luis Guzman they should have cast Michael Peña; he would have been a better or best cast for Gomez.

Anyways, the first episode went smoothly and I did not feel uncomfortable watching the new role of Wednesday, I thin this new Wednesday is more interesting, fascinating, intriguing, and I simply loved the way Jenna brought this new look on Wednesday, she looks more lively and smarter per say. I was laughing, and I thought it was hilarious I actually watched the entire season 1 in 2 days because I had other things to do otherwise I would have watched the entire season 1 in one day.

It was very entertaining and like a new fresh air. I give it 10 thumbs up out of 5, not being an Addams' fan at all

  6. I truly love Jenna Ortega as Wednesday! She is now my one and only Wednesday Addams! I thought she did an excellent job showing emotion without showing emotion, if you know what I mean. They better make a Season 2!

  7. This series as well as this young brilliant actress will be up for (and win) awards in the near future! She is mesmerizing as Wednesday and how prepared she made herself is a tribute to her devotion to perfection. Well done and I cannot wait for more from Jenna Ortega!

  8. Jenna Ortega did a phenomenal job as Wednesday she was a great pick. The only ones I think missed their mark were the actors who played her parents; both of them were missed cast.

  9. Tim Burton chose well, as he always does. From her dedication to learning different activities to her lack of expression, Jenna Ortega's performance was so convincing that it did not feel like we were watching her play Wednesday Addams, it felt like she was Wednesday Addams

  10. Jenna is the REAL DEAL! Clearly, she's driven, she wants to be prepared, she's willing to learn new skills, and she takes the part – the series SERIOUSLY. I am extremely impressed with her commitment, which in itself is a HUGE reward for her career, it bodes well for all of her colleagues and for the series. All of the attention that 'WEDNESDAY' has created, is well deserved! I expect that as Jenna works to make her role REAL, this commitment also impacts and drives OTHERS. I hope that Mr. T. Burton will embrace ALL of the actors, and respect the great commitment of all of the support staff, writers, wardrobe – everyone. Mr. Burton has created a great team: it works: they work: The WEDNESDAY series could have a long life, if – Mr. Burton is allowed to maintain his team and the direction. Really now, Jenna is the lead, but her co-supporting actors – they work so well together. Wonderful!

  11. okay, can we all just stop saying "Latinx?" that is not a gender neutral term for Spanish/Latin people. It's Latine, not Latinx, cause the e more fluid with the world and it's always been a neutral letter in Spanish speaking households.
