I am disappointed to witness unreliability of your source. 1st now we have 8 state here and not 7. Then 4 state is Hindu Majority (Assam, Tripura, Sikkim, Manipur) and Large group of Manipuri people and Assamese people and Bengali people from Tripura and some region of Assam are Vaishnav (Who warship Vishnu), along with a god population of Shakto and Shaiva. Not majority of people eat beef.
Hypocrisy shouldn't be accepted nor the BJP should deviate from Hindutva! BEEF eating should be banned and brutally punishable all over India!
And if BJP fails to do so then it's their biggest hypocrisy and shouldn't be tolerated.

Changes can be done by either influence or by force.
For example- christianity is not a native religion/culture of NE yet people converted to it by any mean.
Same way the changes such as spreading a tribal culture inclusive dharma in NE and making them stop eating beef can be done.
