When India gained independence in 1947, it marked the end of British colonial rule, but also led to the creation of Pakistan. This significant geopolitical shift occurred amidst the backdrop of World War II’s end, which left the UK weakened. India’s independence was propelled by freedom fighters and a desire for self-rule. Shortly after, the Cold War between the USA and USSR began, marked by a clash of ideologies: capitalism versus communism. During this period, India chose a path of non-alignment, leading the Non-Aligned Movement, while Pakistan aligned with the US. India’s strategic non-alignment allowed it to navigate the complexities of the Cold War, maintaining independence in foreign policy and fostering relationships with both superpowers as it pursued its national interests.

I differ in my view with the video. India was more Socialist than democratic from 1950-1990! The nationalisation of key industries destroyed the entrepreneurship. From Airlines to Banks, all key sectors suffered. The license Raj was a horror, and there are detailed videos on how foreign companies were kept out using this policies. Infact if you see per capita during this period- Pakistan's per capita during this period was better than us as they received foreign funds. After the collapse of Soviet union we were forced to open up our economy in 1991 or face imminent default. The corruption was at another level- infact there is a video of former soviet spy telling how Indian ministers were line-ing up to meet the spies to sell state secrets for just 50k rupees. That's how things were badly managed. But yea, if you see the positives- The iits, iims, education sector was 'westernized' , isro- all good foundation which the country is reaping benefits. There are few goods for many bads. Inshort lost decades after independence
👍
The US is always too clever by half, turning friends into enemies and strengthening enemies fearing its friends (or at least, non aligned non enemies). The US built up China too, in fact it was the US under Clinton which facilitated China's missile development after India tested it's nuclear weapons. And now China is a very real threat to the US, and it's missiles have been spread all over the rogue states. Meanwhile India had to do things the hard way, which ultimately served to strengthen our own development efforts. The US will continue to support Pakistan in its efforts to "contain" and "balance" India, which is absurd because India doesn't have world domination ambitions. All we want to do is to live in peace, trade, and lift our own population up.
Once a wise man say:- having US as a enemy is dangerous but having US as a friend is fatel
Good video. Nixon/Kissinger really cemented the wrong dancing partners for decades by assisting Pakistan when they were committing genocide in Bangladesh, rather than India trying to stop it.
Some Groups Desired Their Own Nation!
.
WTF
Momeens wanted their own nation
They not only got their own nation but 50% of this Nation Extra due to Jihadis called Mohandas Gandhi and Nehru (their real names were Mo Gazi & Lehru)
Her last statement that U S wanted to build a country like INDIA , in pakistan !!! This is absurd. If you understand what ISLAM is , what Mohammadens /jihadists are. PAKI is created by Jinna the Jinn , in collaboration with British on religion /ISLAMIC ideology/theology.. PAKI is an ISLAMIC theocracy ( a fascist totalitarian dogma , exclusivist, cruelest ) – Torch bearer./ carrying the ISLAMIC FLAG – How is it possible (impossible) , to create democratic . all inclusive paki-stan.?
On the other hand INDIA is noble, Indian ethos are noble – peace loving, liberal, open, democratic, all inclusive, compassionate, but still U S A has to digest this truth.
