My best guess for why you didn't get the Galactic Market (if you are interested in knowing) is that they pressed their nomination more. Just nominating your planet is not all you can do; you can spend influence and energy credits to press it up to two more times. I've lost the bid for it to planets with less trade value for that very reason numerous times before I figured it out. You'll almost guaranteed get it when your nomination rating is "Perfect".
We found him. The one paradox youtuber that actually plays Stellaris without having to be paid. It must be an experience too be so far ahead of your competition. Or well, just liking the game for that matter
