How I rescue people caught in Sudan’s war | Close Up

On April 15th, Sudan plunged into a violent crisis as a struggle for power broke out between the army and a paramilitary unit known as the Rapid Support Forces. Almost two months later, more than 1 million people have been internally displaced.
Join Osham in our latest Close Up episode, How I rescue people caught in Sudan’s war as he shines a light on the power of community to create change in the face of tragedy. In his own words: “War is a curse. Without peace, there is no life. … We will keep doing everything we can to help our brothers.
In the end, we are all Sudanese.”

  2. Wonderful and beautiful story. Real life heroes and good Samaritans who are not only providing for people but have hearts of good. We need more stories like this on Sudan despite the ongoing conflict. Hoping the war ends soon and the people can try to rebuild.
