So that's the finality of such a reverse slow burn story? Not gonna lie here, if this is the writer's idea of an ending for such snail's pace of a story build-up (and he's not pulling a 2.5 hour anticlimactic joke!), I'll be sure not to waste my time when I see their name authoring the content I subscribe to. That ending was pure & unadulterated D.o.E centered bellcurve excrement, lackluster in resolution and care for the reader's time being wasted! Well there are very fleshed out elements to this story that mark to the skill of the writers credit, there were elements of the story that very much shown the adolescence of the writer's age. HOWEVER – that is not to be used as a crutch for the ability of this writer to NOT offer a real ending with substance instead of what was written. There are just too many elements of backstory that are totally unnecessary for the story completion that ending it after a 30 second 2 step fight just makes ZERO sense…
If this ending isn't a joke and this is the end of the story, I hope this writer does take some writing classes because he has all the basic work skills to be successful! Now they just need a little guidance on storytelling!

Not a very convincing story. What kinda detective just runs from his house when it's being broken into and why does he not have a gun for 30 mins in beginning what was the other case he was being put on…. 35 mins into this and I thumbs downed it.
