He will use is new domain expansion to defeat mahoraga along with the help of maki who will use cursed tools that megumi can summon. After that megumi will use his ability of transferring shikigami power on mahoraga by giving mahoraga power to all his shikigami. This will allow all his shikigami to be adapted to at least one type of attack just like mahoraga. He will give maki mahoragas inverted spear.
I feel like the story will end with yuji dead but with him getting what he wanted. Peace in death surrounded his friends. All of them thankful for his sacrifice and heroism.

where yuji outlives everyone and is cursed to live on and how JJK involves alot of loss and some tragedy sprinkled on top like to me imagining Yuji wanting a meaningful death but instead that death itself striped away from yuji to only continue his eternal suffering would make alot of sense 👹👺👹
