  1. Hey Demone, thanks for all the amazing content. For me you're THE place to go for getting easy-to-absorb info about the game. Keep going, you're great!

  2. I've noticed drops seem to changed based on the weapons I have equipped.

I switched from ice gauntlet to musket, and all the sudden I start getting musketeers shit and more guns and dex stuff.

  3. So wait, do i have to pick up the drop and put it in inventory?
Or can i leave drop on ground, and assume the game algo register it?
Edits with answer to my 2 questions

Edit: only got a partial answer from Dr.Lupo dev team answer…
"You dont have to equip the item for your GS cap to move. The GS is set at the item drops"

Edit2: from Dev "Once the roll drops, even if you never pick it up, it's register by the system"

  4. I really appreciate this explanation! Super helpful. Ignoring weapons you can buy and craft with the purpose of getting new gear is so stupid. New World does some things right, but I find this version of gear score drops utterly stupid.

  5. As i understand from video i might be wrong but faction gear we ve been farming in great cleave doesnt count on pve . So we have to farm 500ish shit drops and equip them so they will start counting? They should ve told us that ffs .

  6. idk if i missed it, but to get those higher score drops gradually, do you have to equip your highest score gear while farming or just getting a high score drop at some point is enough? just confused because in the video you've equipped 533 green gloves

  7. I've also been wondering how gearing works prior to 60. I'm level 48.5, have ran depths 4 times and never received a purple gear peice or higher gearscore piece. I have only ever seen one purple an it was a crappy lower gs gauntlet from a quest chest. Meanwhile in those depths runs, level 43/44 teammates are getting high gearscore purple drops. I also have luck on some of my gear an a minor luck trophy.

    Ultimately I'm just confused. 😅😪

  8. Well good to know the grind will continue after becoming master crafter lol. The way I see it is the crafted or purchase gear is a way to offset the low drop rates so you aren't as under geared until you can replace it with an actual drop of that gear score.

As in you crafted a 550 chest piece but drops for the cheest piece are 480 so that 550 crafted item will last till dropped gear score catches up since enemies have a Chace to drop higher level gear score items all be it a low chance. Meaning it could be a bit of farming high level monsters to keep bumping the gear score levels for chest till it gets to the point where it can replace your crafted stuff.
