Guess what, more plastering today! We tackle covering the headers (lintels) by using hardware cloth and a trowel to get in those hard to reach areas.

  1. This is pretty sweet. You have me wondering what rock embedded plaster would look feel, and act like in the elements. Been driving through Texas cyclone country and so many of the houses have flat rocks covering their houses and I thought I wonder what that would look like on top of bags. Getting kind of close honestly. A couple of more days and you guys will be seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.

  3. Hi family, I'm a new follower of your channel for only a couple of months and I love it! Was wondering if you will be painting any of the structures you will be building? I really like the red color of the bags. πŸ˜€πŸ¦‹πŸ’š

  4. Why don't you on top of the garden wall do a shape like you did on the solar shed with the raised up patern's and on top of the wall do a long snake traveling on it. So water can slop from inside and outside as it slithers along the wall

  5. For the top, I'd put on flat gray cinderblocks as the top will take most of the abuse. I'd angle the slope toward the outer wall, where there would be a gutter system leading to an above ground tank, or a tank buried in the ground. I like the latter as you can buy underground plastic water cisterns fairly cheaply, the water wouldn't be prone to mold growth or contamination and it would be a cool source of water. For the gutters I'd buy plastic septic pipe or pvc as they're relatively cheap and lasts forever. Cut it in two and you'd buy half the length of pipe.

  6. If the books are getting boring, maybe they can read the KJV bible. It is excellent English and has many interesting stories. If it wasn't for the KJV bible we would all be speaking Latin today. Latin was the language of education before the KJV bible was translated from Greek and Hebrew into English.

  9. mounding as you call it is better than just a slope that way the water will flow equally down both indie and outside of the wall therefore less wear on one side of the wall. yes more material but it does look nicer, Spanish style copied by the Mexicans also very Ibizan….which is where i am almost…. looking good…
