  1. You are on my mind today Jami and I hope you're enjoying popsicles! They helped me with the pain and swelling in my mouth you can even get popsicle molds to make your own in what you like to have!😊🕯🧡💜🧡

  2. I am no horse behaviourist but in other herd/pack animals, it's not a good idea to interfere with the ranking order. They know what they are doing and in this case it's probably one of the ways Storm has of helping Rita learn a bit if respect. In your shoes I would probably respect Storm's rank over Rita, and always do everything with Storm first, until she's done, then go to Rita.

  3. Please don’t put Rita at risk by insisting she come up to you when Storm is there. I believe you understand horse hierarchy. This barn area is just too small for what you want. Find an open area. Rest up, stay hydrated and well fed. ❤

  4. Jami, you were hoping Storm would teach Rita some horse manners, and she has done that beautifully. I'm hoping you heed what your body is telling you. Little steps, and then rest. I continue to send healing vibes your way.

  6. Storm walking towards Rita with her ears back showing a whole lot of sass. Yup! She's now sees herself being above Rita. I hope you're healing well Jami. You're always in my thoughts and prayers. Gentle hugs ❤️ 💐

  7. Jmo-I always saw my Aunt telling the animals that She was the head honcho, not them. With time and healing just take your crown back and let them adjust. They miss you but like kids need reminding.
Continued prayers for less pain and more healing.

  8. Hi JAMI, I'm afraid that there isn't anything you can do to change the INNATE CODE HORSES ARE BORN THIS WAY! 😂 You are BREAKING THE CODE BY TRYING TO GO AROUND THE HEAD HIGH HORSE TO THE LIL LOW HORSE. IT WILL GET THE LOW HORSES IN TROUBLE.

What I would ALWAYS DO when I visited my favorite horse FARMS, stables or riding horses was to take the LEAD HIGH HORSE(S)OUT OF SIGHT OF THE LOW HORSES which were my favorite. I was an art major with permission to photograph horse's and I learned to not show my treats for my FUGLY FAVES but I always brought enough to feed ALL OF THE HORSE'S.

I would visit the HIGH HORSES FIRST and wink wink at the scruffy scraggly faves which is what FUGLY MEANS 😂. I would never take them out the front because I knew the other horses were watching and they would BITE, KICK, AND TERRORIZE the FUGLIES. You have to understand it's like HUMAN NATURE of WHO'S THE HEAD HONCHOS OR ROOSTER AND HEN AT WORK. When they come around everybody carter's and cowers to their presence. Once they leave certain employees may get ribbed for being the bosses favorite or called brown nosers.

You call IT BEING MARE-ISH as if it's a FEMALE THING, it's not as simple as that because the MALES DO IT WORSE. Look at BUCCEES AND VOODOO, the only difference between them is that they actually love each other as brothers VS just being in the same herd. They are always jockeying for who gets the food, treats and pets first and second. IVY demanded to be THIRD until BEVERLY wore on her nerves.

One day RITA will possibly take the LEAD HORSE from STORMY, depending on whether or not you throw any more horses in the mix.

BOTTOM LINE IS THESE ARE INATE TRAITS THE CREATOR INSTILLED IN ANIMALS. You can't redirect or change it to your liking, you have to learn ways to get around it. TAKE THE HIGH HORSES OUT FIRST, THEN THE LOWER ONES AND HIDE FROM THE HERD IN ANOTHER AREA.

UNFORTUNATELY THE CREATOR GAVE HUMAN ANIMALS FREE WILL, so you're free to either use this information or not.

I don't think you should take anything for granted with RITA because you see her outer beauty without knowing if she came from very ugly circumstances. It's going to take a year before she will feel at ease if there's any PTSD. I know this has been a helluva learning curve but hopefully you guys will be wiser going forward. I am longwinded but the stories I could tell about near death experiences with animals would make anyone shirk shoulders at me as to why I didn't kill the critters? #1 REASON is it wasn't their fault nor mine but I was just in the wrong place at the right time to get injured.

ALL THE BEST GOING FORWARD. HOPEFULLY YOU WILL BE READY TO START THE REAL NEW YEAR, NEW BEGINNINGS BY MARCH 21, THE FIRST DAY OF SPRING = NEW LIFE ❤ MAY PEACE✌️& BLESSINGS BE WITH YOU 🙏💐

  10. I don’t think Jami could talk this well after surgery… it’s most likely this was a video she had…. But, I’m sure she’ll be back soon. Rest & healing prayers, Jami. 🙏🏼✝️🇺🇸♥️✨🕊️

  11. Natural horse behavior. Stormy is teaching Rita some manners. There is order in a herd. This group has two new members, give them time to work it out. Regular workouts to stimulate their minds and be an outlet for energy might prove helpful. Jamie you are in my thoughts everyday. I am praying for you and Lester. I hope you can feel the support from your followers, you are held in high esteem my many.

  13. Wow that was something to see. Storm steady blocks Rita from getting any human attention. Who know what else Storm is controlling in her Horse World. Probably a great deal. Diva Storm Takes the Cake.

  14. So glad you are doing well. ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS remember that before you go into a horses stall that they are facing you. Horses get scared and spooked when you are coming from behind. This is advice from a 40 year horse handler. Even if they have known you for years they can still turn on you. I wish you well and good thoughts and prayers 💕💕🙏🙏
