Colonel Harry Shoup answered the call. His daughter Terri tells the story of how the NORAD Santa Tracker begun.

I remember the radio station that broadcast in my area in the Bay Area in California in 75-76 announcing the location and distance from our city of Santa 🎅🏼 and his sleigh of reindeer on Xmas eve. I listened with anticipation as I was about 6-7 years old. So this tracking of Santa 🎅🏼 has been going on a long time!
