How Did The Infected REMEMBER EVERTHING WHILE ZOMBIES?

As an outbreak of a virus known as the Maze Virus would ransack Europe, Ireland would be hit the hardest. Much to the excitement of the scientific community at large, a cure would be discovered allowing for the infected to be broken from their state of psychosis, and reintegrate back into society. However, once cured it became apparent that those who were infected, could actually remember everything they did. Struggling with this knowledge and the fact that society hates the, they would have to navigate a rather hostile world. But the question is, how did their brains operate during this time frame? lets discuss that in todays episode!

  1. I think there's some Irish political subtext Ronaoke is missing out on, including the colours of the political party Conner was clearly part of.

That's why people are being so awful to the cured, but I mean, I would have assumed it would work even as just a simple "everyone has PTSD, no one wants the people who used to be monsters around. Especially when they're still acting weird and there's no assurance that they won't relapse"

Edit: also those guards weren't assulting her that way, they were pissing on her

  2. Icky Sticky late-adopter here. I have no issue with it being legalized, but folks REALLY need to do a deep-dive on the effects on mental health. It can be devastating. I get it, they want it legalized, and I am for it. But it is far more insidious to your mental health and just as damaging as alcohol at the levels the chemicals involved have reached.

Do your homework boys and girls. Keep a journal. Stay away if you show even the SMALLEST signs of issues with it. Mental health is still health.

  3. The anglerfish species have more than 200 subspecies, and the majority of them live in the depths of the Antarctic and Atlantic oceans. They usually stay almost a mile below the surface, but some are known to habituate the more shallow, warmer environments. Believe it or not, the shape of their bodies largely depends on where they can be found.

We describe the anglerfish that live near the surface as being pelagic, while those that dwell close to the seafloor are benthic. The pelagic forms of anglerfish are laterally compressed, meaning they are wider on the sides. On the other hand, the benthic forms are dorsoventrally compressed, meaning their backs and lower parts of their bodies grow longer, and they often have mouths that point upwards.

  4. "he's actually hyperventilating……. this would indicate that this is a nervous system disease , through and through…"
Sure. You have enough to determine that from " hyperventilating". Because, he couldn't possibly be hyperventilating due to, I don't know, knowing he had contracted a horrible disease and is now having a panic attack.
Hope you never were actually responsible for diagnosing human beings. That is some Olympic level conclusion jumping that you do there sir.
"He's bleeding from the mouth. He must have ebola".
No. He had a seizure and bit his tongue.
"He's doubled over in pain, grasping at his lower right abdomen. He MUST have a inflamed appendix!"
No. He was struck in the lower abdomen by a fastball pitch.
"He's sweating profusely . He must be having a heart attack!!!"
No. He just ran 5 miles in 90 degree weather.

"He's hyperventilating. He must have a nervous system disease!"
Maybe he just found out he has the worst disease in history, or has some regret for things the disease will make him do , or has made him do , and is having a panic attack. Perhaps the disease causes respiratory or metabolic acidosis.

Diagnosing on a single sign/symptom is almost always indefensible in the medical world.
Get a medical history/history of present illness. Examine and find out about other signs/symptoms.
    Don't jump to conclusions.

  5. blaming the infected is the same as blaming the truck driver whos trucks breaks failed and he runs a red light and T-bones a school bus, the driver is just as much a victim here as the kids, and yet, people insist on blaming him for something he had no power over.
as for the cure, better to reserve it for the recently infected before it can go to far, the rest should get a mercy out.

and youtubes censorship is seriouly going way out of hand and should be stoped, they should lose the ability to censor at all due to how they abuse it.

  8. Urgh, this movie just gave me a whole new completely made-up issue to get upset about. Right up there with "Once Humans create sufficiently advanced AI and robotics, they're gonna treat them like second class citizens which is gonna bring about the Terminator/ I-Robot timeline." I really actually just hate moral dilemmas that could potentially affect me getting decided by a small minority of a society without sufficient brain mass
