  1. My cousin had this game on the PS1 and it was a blast to play I still own the sequel of it on PS2 I do recommend checking it out once you have the time to do that. But yes you’d think Bandai a publisher who has a lot of experience in fighting games would make this series a stable and market them heavily. They’re literally sitting on a gold mine and refuse to utilize it

  2. Ed why weren’t you using the “final smash” when you’re in the mega stage? Press the evolution button and you’ll do a super move but that will make you lose your mega level and go back to rookie

  3. Dude, you've gotta try Digimon Rumble Arena 2, it plays more like smash bros and your characters can incrementally digivolve instead of skipping straight to Mega. ITs so good… Stay far away from Digjmon All Stars though, that was Bandai just shoving something at American audiences to see if we'd buy anything.

  4. Glad you liked this game. Definitely excited if you check out Rumble Arena 2. That one is my personal favorite. Technically the two Rumble Arena games aren't connected at all and it's just English that made them into a series. All-Star Rumble isn't as good, but I think it's underrated.

  5. I spent a lot of time playing all the various Digimon Battle games (Spirit Battle as well). Never got around to All Star Battle though, which seemed like a poorer remake of the second game but with a few S6 digimon added instead of S4

  6. There's no Digimon game like Pokémon Stadium. The closest to that is game that never came to the west because it needed the Pocket Station.

You essentially raised your digimon in the Pocket Station, V-pet style, and used the PS1 disc to do battles in 3D and a couple other stuff.

  7. reapermon is probably the funnest part of the game. the rest of the digimon that are AI controlled do horribly with combos, but Reapermon is amazing at being controlled by AI.

  8. Love this game, I spent way too much time on this. My fav line was Metalgarurumon's "How do ya like them apples?"
(woulda been better with friends but now-a-days you can play games like this on Parsec)

  9. Terriermon and Renamon were my favorites to play in this game. I do like Wormmon and Veemon's moves a lot as well though.

Fun fact: Reapermon or Gokumon in sub did not appear again until the 2020 Adventure reboot. It fought against WarGreymon and it was kind of sick.

  10. To be fair I did say on the hopes for digimon remakes and ports I said all I want is the Rumble Arena games ports or remakes. Fun fact Rumble Arena 1 was probably the first video game I played and it was at giant eagle's nest.
