  1. Forwarding my tips from previous video for the benefit of Damp Daddy and anyone new to this game:

    1. The signposts in the first rooms of every floor are the tutorial.

    2. Bombs are more used than keys but as much as possible, always have at least 2 keys. Bombs can also blow up chests you don't have keys for(and some secrets I'll leave for you to discover)

    3. You can swap weapons by using the number keys equivalent to the numbers in the inventory.

    4. Every 10 points in a stat gives a bonus. 10 str= +1 heart, 10 dex= +1 dash, 10 int= +1 mana(making int not really useful if you're choosing to mainly use a non-magical weapon)

    5. Event rooms are usually better than most rooms so going for them is the better choice most of the time.

  2. The tooltip only shows base damage, you have to hold down Shift to see the damage adjusted with its scaling (plus all other effects you might have). Shift also compares an item in your inventory to what you have equipped. The game tells you this in one pop-up in the beginning and then never again, same as the 10 Strength/Dex giving you 1 more max health/dodge. Even with Shift held down, damage numbers can be deceiving, because some weapons shoot two projectiles at once, so if both hit, it deals double the damage that's shown in the tooltip, so you should always test out new weapons you get.
