Just because you are unable to extrapolate the cause from the effect does not indicate that the cause you've been told from childhood is correct. We know it doesn't line up, but you people dig your heads in the sand and ignore real evidence. You keep moving the goalpost! You people didn't believe in evolution or the big bang, but now you're going to co-opt it and pretend that your space wizard simply caused everything that was previously seen to go against the biblical explanation? So why can't our ancestors be the cause? I mean instead of some invisible man who supposedly made everything and knows everything, including who will disobey and who will join him/her/it in a mythical oasis called heaven,, why must resort to a figure created by man?

My grandfather had always told me before that if there is a creation there is a creator. Let's say for instance you are now seeing a table. Who created this table? Of course a carpenter had created this table. Same as the same thing with the universe and the earth that we live in and all of the planets in the galaxy. There is a one supreme being who is there before there is time.
Appeal to incredulity
Look! Most people would just say that I know it's God because it must be God because it can't be anything else. If they've been trying to get a job, and they get their dream job, they would say it was God that gave him that dream job. But at what point can we figure out where God stepped in and what did he do to bring them that dream job. What's to stop me from just saying that you got lucky, your credentials just fit the position, there is a hiring manager who gave you a chance. We don't even trust each other as much as we are supposed to trust God.
I spent all my school life and special education, bullied, made fun of, I was one of the biggest Christians you could ever know. While everybody laughed at me for praying, telling people that they can't bother me because of God, they will continue to do so, and then go on to be prosperous while I was just left to continue to work hard with often no award. Why is it that God is just like some of the students and special education, where we have to talk for him, we're constantly having to say "oh this is what he means" just come down and speak to us like you did for the people in the past. Of course it's easy to do it for the people in the past where we can't prove it today.
It would be so cool to have some evidence that there is a God. Evidence that isn't just circumstantial and speculation. As a scientist, as an engineering student, I am taught everyday to question everything. This is what I have done. I hope one day this changes. I'd love for God to come back and show himself to the people who really are trying to learn.

This is the PROBLEM WITH RELIGIOUS PEOPLE, They believe that their opinions are the TRUTH.
What is the Truth? Is there a GOD? The TRUTH IS WE DON'T KNOW. It is our BELIEF, AND OPINION THAT THERE IS a GOD BUT WE CAN'T PROVE IT, NOR DO WE HAVE TO PROVE OR JUSTIFY OUR BELIEFS TO ANYONE, BUT ALSO, we can not force our belief in GOD on others. And the bible tells us not to try to force our beliefs on others, this is where most religious people fail to be Christians.
and yet again Frank has nothing but the first cause argument. Alas, that never gets to his particular god. All he has is special pleading, insisting that his god doesn't have to be caused because he needs it to be that way.
So just say faith…. Christianity can't answer science. So you either have to deny faith or science…or you try to meld the two. You might have to change your beliefs but atleast you can still believe fully. If you deny science than you can never fully believe cause, even a little bit, it will always be in your head. There is no evidence to back your stance but a ton to disclaim it.
When someone asks you, “If God exists, how do you know He doesn’t give a rat’s tail about us?”, tell the person to just go visit the nearest children’s oncology ward.

Why do we keep finding human beings dating back further and further in time. The bedtime storybook doesn't date back to the time of these humans that have been found thousands and thousands of years ago. There is too much evidence that crushes the God theory. We only took what he provided, we did not want material things, we welcomed immigrants (your ancestors), we were pious and never forced our beliefs on anyone, we taught your ancestors how to farm this land and fed you when you were hungry.
